While in TJ, our cousin mentioned this as one of her favorite restaurants. I can see why. Ate dinner and while they are less familiar with English, between the hostess who speaks better English and the Google Translate app for my iPhone, we were able to get by. The food was authentic, plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced. A good choice!

My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant and trying the different types of mole-green, brown, and orange. The restaurant had a good assortment of beer and drinks.

The food is real, authentic, traditional Mexican Cuisine. There were no gringos here, only Mexicans. Had entertainment in the form of wandering minstrels, playing music if you paid them but it was nice, Mexican music. The guy was strumming his guitar and singing loudly but he was good. Well-known to the locals and highly recommended and I can see why.... More

La Casa is on the same traffic circle as the Hotel Lucerna and so is very accessible by hotel guests. The sauces are applied to chicken dishes, burritos and enchiladas and are the signature claim-to-fame of the restaurant.

We ate there, walked from the hotel. It was cold in restaurant. Then we were all but ignored for most of the evening. Waiter was slow to arrive, food was cold. It was ok, but not great. We had heard very good things, and honestly the other table (more people and locals) appeared to be doing much better (more service).... More

Was introduced to this restaurant by a local. The name is painted on the wall, but I would have missed it the second time around if it weren't for the colorful Mexican banners out front. Parking is sparse out front as is exiting and entering because they are right on the round about. I believe they may have a parking... More

Casual place where you can taste good typical mexican food. The speciality is the "Mole" and "Enchiladas de Mole". It´s a good place to try the "mole poblano" a typical mexican plate.

All kinds of this spicy sophisticated spices sauce called mole, some include a chocolate base. This the most Mexican dish, chicken with mole and beans. I love it ! Located in Paseo de los Heroes Tijuana,s best avenue.

Yes the Mole dish is pretty good and i love the cafe de hoya! However, the service is in need of improvement.

This restaurant serves authentic Mexican food, the food was fantastic, but the service provided by server was rushed and really awkward. My wife ordered a caldo de pollo, and I got a Tampiqueña, which is flank steak, my order came with a mole enchilada, and I told the server that I didn't wanted sour cream. My enchilada came with sour... More
