Went here with a friend who has a home in TJ. He told me the shrimp tacos were the best. I was not disappointed the shrimp tacos were fantastic as was the service. I also got a shrimp cocktail that was good but not the best I have had but still loaded with nice plump quality shrimp. This is the... More

What an amazing seafood restaurant that takes just cash. It serves up some of the best tostadas ceviche and cocktails in town and it does not disappoint. The ceviche, shrimp taco and everything else on the menu is simply amazing! Definitely hard to get to but it is worth finding this place.

Undoubtedly one the best authentic Mexican seafood in Tijuana, A locals' favorite. The portions are large and the cost is very reasonable. The food is great. The seafood soup was so large I took some home for later. Great tacos and tostadas, If you are Mexican seafood lover, you can't miss this Tijuana seafood icon.

It's well-known to the locals but not to outsiders. It is an award-winning place. The food is top-class. Best tacos I have ever eaten. Best in terms of taste and best in terms also of unique ways of filler and choices. My TJ friends took me to many taco places in Tijuana (TJ) but no place compares to this place.... More

OK, it MIGHT be just a little bit more expensive than other shrimp tacos in the area, but they HEAP those tasty shrimps on there! The "Mazateño" is the shrimp taco on a quesadilla that made the place famous. If you're feeling cheap, just ask for a couple more tortillas, and you can off-load a pile of shrimp onto those... More

This isn't a fancy place by any means, you're dining with the locals, and it's out of the way in Otay Mesa; but if you want to taste the best shrimp tacos ever, you have to come here. As soon as you're seated you get a basket of fresh hot tortilla chips, a collection of salsa for dipping, and a... More

Mariscos el Mazateño has a well-earned reputation as THE spot for the best Sinaloan-style seafood tacos in Tijuana. The crowd of locals seated at this open-air restaurant in the Tomas Aquino section of town is testament to its popularity. The el perrón taco combines generous amounts of succulent grilled Baja shrimp and crunchy fried red snapper heaped into two warm,... More
