Great food, great staff, great location. We went here while we waited to get our all inclusive wristbands for the El Cid Castilla located beside the restaurant. We had some drinks and a shrimp platter. So much food and the service was great and they had free wifi. Our server put us in touch with the guy we booked out... More

The owner walked us in arm in arm - and put us by a table by the beach. It was sunset - and we had one of the best meals of my life. Do yourself a favor and go here. We had grilled seafood platter, lobster thermador, and cerviche - plus beer - for $60 USD. AMAZING food and service!

I wasn't wanting to get a walk in and also seek some supper. I was walking streetside and saw the display of goodness they had (plates made up and wrapped in plastic wrap to let people walking by see some of what they make). I decided I liked what I saw and would step on in. I was sat right... More

We dropped in for a beer & snack while walking the Av Camaron Sabalo to the Av del Mar. Five stars for cold beers, shrimp ceviche & smoked Marlin tacos at a great price. Not great signage & to confirm previous review, is called Alawa Mariscos a la Orilla del Mar.

Went back twice for the Tuna Carpaccio! The first time, we had the bacon wrapped shrimp- good, tuna carpaccio-excellent and tuna tacos- ok. The carpaccio was wonderful so went back for another round prior to our departure. Tasted the same, but received a little less tuna and crispy onions. Will go again! The sign outside says Alawa. It's right on... More

Location right on the beach is lovely, but you might miss this spot if your walking by off the street as its far set in.

Now called Alana. Good mediocre at best. Menu translations are poor and confusing. Server had limited English so my husband did not get the meal he ordered. Nice setting but only one other table occupied at 6:00 pm.

We just wanted to have a snack and definitely wanted to try ceviche and popped in to this place. We sat right by the beach and watched the sun set. We shared just one order of fish ceviche and for the price we had a huge plate of fresh ceviche to share. They bring hot sauce, tostada and crackers. It... More

Just stopped in and then I saw the menu for the dish with Borracho Sauce with the melted cheese and shrimp in it. Now every year I have to go there and eat this.
