Every attempt was made to make this a special meal for my wife and I. I had my tip in my front pocket and as the night went on, I continually added to it. Food was excellent as was the service. More than one waiter will serve you, so you'll be well taken care of. I handed the tip to... More

Incredible meal, while watching the sun set into the bay. Unexpected taste combinations, like the avocado, cactus and mozzarella roasted appetizer, even the hibiscus butter, and a complimentary amuse-bouche of steak and pineapple. Just a delight from start to finish.

The chef is a budding star! Now is the time to visit this great restaurant before the world discovers him! My main course was a Tuna that was pan seared and laid atop couscous that was infused with the flavors of Sri Lanka and Mexico.

This last time was our 3rd visit to Las Gaviotas, for we often stay at the Sheraton Buganvilias after our yearly trips to Mexico. Every time I have been here with my family or friends it has been a lovely experience. The food and environment is exquisite, and staff and chefs will cater to your every need. As loyal customers,... Best place to get food at this resort - go all inclusive so you can pig out. The great thing about this resort is you are not limited to the number of times you can make reservations at a restaurant - they only take reservations morning of until noon.

We ate here one evening while staying at the Sheraton. My husband and I had the seafood soup as an appetizer, very very tasty. I had the shrimp 3 ways, and my husband had the steak. Both meals were very tasty, but my husband thought his steak would of been better with some veggies to accompany. The wine was terrific,... More

I had a seafood soup as a starter and lamb as a main course. There house red wine was excellent as well and was included in the price of the meal. Restaurant also gave every table an aperitif. A very good selection of dessert, if you are still hungry. We passed on that and opted for a cup of coffee.... More
