First off I have to give a shout out to the amazing taxi driver that introduced us to this restaurant and 3 others while on our trip. His name is Noe. He was a great contact and friend to have met while in Puerto Vallarta. He can help recommend different places to eat and shop as well as accommodating you... More

If you want to go somewhere with a great view, this is the place. The food was average. We had a table with about 14 people and a few had to send dinners back because their steak was over or under cooked. My husband and I split two dinners and they were nice enough to split them in the back... More

My family and I dined here on vacation last week and were very impressed with the service, food and staff of this restaurant! Victor was very nice and took excellent care of us, the food and drinks were tasty and the presentation was excellent. We had the chocolate cake for dessert, it was delicious! The atmosphere of this place is... More

We have not been here for 5 years and it was as good as ever. We love the hacienda and dining along the rail, seeing the city come alive at night. Although you cannot see the sunset directly, it is still a good place to see the daylight fade and the city light up. We loved the food and service.... More

This beautiful family owned restaurant provides an outstanding view, personal attention, and wonderful food! Not pretentious, comfortable and inviting! Be sure to order the Bananas Flambé to top off your dining experience! Bravo Victor! Cheers!🍷

Great view of the city from way up on the hill. The cab ride itself is worth the experience, but had great food with welcoming waiters in an old hacienda still owned by the family. We dined there in February 2016 & we want to go back.

We dine here regularly and always enjoy the food and the friendly staff. Such a romantic Hacienda. The owners are on site frequently to see that everything is to your liking. A must visit in PV!

Every Wednesday night we have a LOCAL group of Americans and Canadians who live in Vallarta that meet up for dinner at a local restaurant for dinner and drinks. Palomar was by far the least favorite restaurant we have visited. The entire table had to constantly ask several times for water, drink refills, ash trays, etc... You get the picture!... More

I was very disappointed this time at El Palomar. I have eaten there on two previous trips to PV and the quality of the food and the level of service has gone way down. I had the shrimp and there were five or six shrimp with literally 1/4 cup of rice with a spoonful of grilled veggies. We went and... More
