We've traveled to Puerto Varallta for several years. My family had always paid for all inclusive growing up, but my wife and I love the adventure of seeking cheap eats while traveling. Burrito beach is just that! Cheap, tasty , and convenient ! About a 5 min walk from the hotel area we stayed at ( Sheraton ) they make... More

This I a tiny place right off the street. Wouldn't have thought much about it but I wanted a beer so we popped in. We started with chicken and steak tacos which were good so I thought I'd try a shrimp taco. Delicious! I've been back in the USA for three days and wish I could fly back for another!

Been this great place twice now in three days. The people who work there are very welcoming. I stumbled onto this place one evening walking back from the beach and was hungry so decided to try it out. Had a Shrimp Quesadilla and some Pastor Tacos. Yummy! In the area last night stopped in again and tried another dish which was... More

We got off the bus looking for an authentic Mexican dinner before hitting the town center and passed by this little gem buzzing with locals so decided to give it a try. We liked the food and the service so much we came back the day after for lunch! We had tacos and burritos and horchata. All cooked with love.... More

My wife and I stopped here for our first bite to eat upon arriving in PV and thought very highly of the food. 50 pesos for 5 street sized tacos (chorizo and pork) and a great location right at the north edge of the Malecon. Operated by locals who were very nice and accommodating, we returned again later that week... More

We got off the bus a bit too soon for the Malecon so decided to walk to it when on the way we stumbled across this great gem! We had their shrimp quesadilla for only 35 pesos and it same with 4 or 5 large prawns with onions and peppers and cheese. When I asked for some pick de gallo,... More

What a great little find! While you walk around shopping in the great clothing area, take a peek into this place to refuel! Great food- ridiculously worth the price. I'm not usually a fan of burgers made with frozen patties, but they have SUCH a great flavour! The chef really does know what he's doing. My hubby had the tacos... More
