This place was recommended for good, authentic Mexican food. It had that and more. Salsa was made at our table and was the freshest and best we've had in the last 10 days here. My wife had the Coconut Shrimp which was very good. But here's the surprise. Rack of Lamb was a special this night and it was as... More

We stopped in for Margaritas and a light snack. Loved the atmosphere and the location, open to the street, right across from the mercado de artesanias, if you sit on an 'outside' table you can shop from your seat! The locals will try to sell to you from the sidewalk. The place was packed as it was almost noon, so... More

We went for dinner, we got the food menu but we never got the drinks menu. The food was average. One of the dishes had a long black hair. The restaurant ambiance was good. If you go, watch out for the margarita trap. They will ask you if you want "soft, medium or strong" tequila, whatever your choice is, they... More

We stumbled on it by accident when shopping in the local tourist outdoor Mercado. The food was great, the location was outstanding. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Zihua!

We visited Bandidos three times in a week, only during the day for lunch and snacks. The salsa and guacamole are tasty! I had the caper and lime fish twice, and octopus tacos. I'll be back next year!

Good basic food, fresh salsa prepared at your table to your liking (hot, mild, in between) many food choices from typical Mexican dishes to a pretty darn good cheeseburger. Right by the Catholic Church in downtown Zihua. Go around 7-7:30pm on a night that Michele is entertaining. Zihua local (28years or more) from France (I believe). Sings like a songbird,... More

Ok, it is full or tourists but the service is good (though sometimes slow), the food is very good and the entertainment is a lot of fun. We went twice during our week in Zihua. I love chile rellenos. I order it whenever I see it on the menu. It did not disappoint. And we loved the homemade salsa. Made... More

We had been recommended to Bandidos for the lamb, and went for a 7pm dinner. The ambiance is fine, very comfortable seating. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was well presented Our first problem was with the Margaritas which tasted like lemonade until we se nt them back and requested they put some liquor in them. They... More

Our cab driver recommended Badido's for a drink on a Friday afternoon. After shopping we decided to stop in and ended up staying for dinner. All of us enjoyed our entrees and the portions were so large we could have shared. The music started while we were eating and we stayed a little while and enjoyed it. All in all... More

Nice lunch here with friends - good fish tacos and tortilla soup. Inexpensive and lively. Very colourful and then an easy walk to the market.
