If you like baked stuffed potatoes, you'll love this place. There are tacos as well, but the baked potatoes are the winners. We chose the Mexican potato which included chicken and mushrooms. It was delicious and filling. They give you a few fresh vegetables on a plate as well as the usual sauces as accompaniment. Can't wait to go back.

The crazy potato is well named. It is street food on a busy street. When we were there it was VERY busy. People were crowded in, waiters running through a tangle of tables and customers and the people in the kitchen going wild creating crazy potatoes. We sat outside which is kind of a parking lot/driveway. It is kind of... More

Again we return first night back and our first stop. La Pappa Loca our favourite place to get a excellent valued meal. Others we met return also multiple times during a stay to enjoy crazy potatoes and tacos etc. Service is always swift and attentive.

So tasty. My family loves the potatoes, and always looks forward to going back every year to have them again. My personal favorite is the Alambre Macho. SO good! Very Affordable prices as well.

I am a solo American customer. I waited 30 minutes for the potato and chips. The food was great but service was lacking. Other people were served in front of me even though I was there before them.

We were greeted as soon as we stepped out of the cab and promptly sat down with tortilla chips and salsa. The waitress helped us pick our food and were eating within five minutes. The baked potatoes are to die for. They are huge - actually could eat only 1/2. So the good news is ... I know what is... More

This will be a new must stop for us when visiting the area in the future. The potatoes are huge and you have many topping options to choose from. Great local place and very inexpensive. Can't wait to go back again!

I had an incredible potato with pork, bacon, onion, peppers but could only eat one third of it! So delicious and only cost around $3.50 american. The tacos looked delicious as well, but had no room for more. Fun place!

Description
A lot of places claim to be for the "locals" but this place actually is where they eat. The name means "crazy potato" in English and that is their speciality. Huge baked potato's filled with buttter, sour cream, cheese and then a variety of meats. Their tacos al pastor and pico de gallo are the best I've ever tasted. Nothing on the menu is more than $50 peso's or about $4usd. Very popular spot with the locals and tourist's that want to experience authentic Mexican food..
