Sanborn's on Boulevard Juarez is a short walk from the zocalo (main plaza) of Cuernavaca. There is also ample parking in the garage below the restaurant. The food and service are usually quite good, and the atmosphere is relaxing, especially if you sit outside in the garden area. It's a lovely break from the noise and crowds of downtown.

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant when we visited the museum of the Palacio de Cortes. We parked at the restaurant, then visited the museum and had lunch. It is very close from the museum. The waitress was very attentive, and the food was tasty, but we got sick afterwards. We ordered fajitas de arrachera.

Food's not great, but certainly a bit above average. Prices are definitely above average, but there is an extensive menu (sometimes available in English) so easier to find something 'interesting' or 'new'. Seats are comfy, service is usually pretty swift, and you can scale back and get a 'light' meal if you wish (I've eaten at Sanborns several times, including... More

It is like an oasis in the middle of the city of Cuernavaca, with an amazing and incredible garden, you can enjoy your meals here, the staff very kind and nice. They have a festival with dishes from Yucatan. You can find books, cd, dvds, clothes, toiletries, and art crafts.with parking lot.

Consistent food and service. The Cuernavaca location is a lovely old building that we try to visit each time. The desserts are quite nice.
