This place really lived up to all the great reviews.Service and quality of food were both excellent. The tables and chairs were beautifully hand made out of wood by an artist and craftsman. They even offer a good selection of locally brewed beers.

The decor is all wood, indoor-outdoor, casual and relaxing. Service was very attentive. The Pizza del Mar was fantastic. Avoid the house white wine, which wasn't even worth the bargain price.

A nice place to have some great pizza. The commodities are really of great quality which really comes through. Whenever I get back to Cuernavaca I will make sure to grab myself a bite.

If you've ever had the chance to go to Cuernavaca, and you like Pizza, and you didn't go to Nostalgia, I'm afraid to say your stance there was worthless. They'll serve a dish for Gods, which any mediocre individual could pay for. It might seem like I'm exaggerating, but go and taste it; if you don't love it (i.e., have... More

Food, service and atmosphere all far exceeded our expectations. Me and my date both tried something different, ingredients tasted fresh, you could taste the wood smoke in the delightfully crispy crust, top 5 best slices in all of mexico. Check out the decor, all custom made wood peices, very trendy. All round GREAT pizzas at a pretty damn respectable price.... More

I recently returned from a trip to Cuernavaca and was impressed with the quality of food in most places, but this is the best pizza(best meal of the holiday) I have had. Pleasant environment, friendly staff and fantastic food. I would reccomend this to anyone who enjoys authentic wood fired pizza while holidaying in this part of Mexico.

After trying sourdough pizza in London for the first time last year (Franco Manca) I was really happy to find it being served on the other side of the world too. This style of pizza is tasty! The service was very good but it's to the pizza itself that the recommendation goes. Served to the table piping hot from the... More

Description
Nostalgia is a contemporary pizzeria inspired by the small pizzerias of Naples and the gourmet pizza movement as a whole. We're different because we care about the food we put on your plate, the ingredients we cook it with and how we do so. Our oven really is wood-fired (other pizzerias in Cuernavaca hide their gas burners deep inside the oven). You're more than welcome to take a look. We'll give you a free meal if you find any burners or gas piping. Our dough is made from scratch and is properly cold fermented for 24+ hours. We shape it by hand and treat it with care since it's the backbone of our pizza. Our ingredients and toppings are of the highest quality, especially the 13 different cheeses from France, Italy, Denmark, Netherlands, Greece and Mexico that we use. We believe in offering generous servings at a fair price. We also have a good selection of beverages, beers and wings. Our wings are very popular because we make the sauces from scratch, never utilizing pre-made sauces or seasoning. We then add this sauce to the wings and cook them in the wood oven alongside our pizza.
