This is a popular spot for lunch on the road to Chapala from Guadalajara. It's cafeteria style so you grab a tray and choose your food at the counter. They serve a large variety of delicious fillings for burritos as well as other traditional dishes such as chili relleno and desserts. Prices are also great. There is plenty of seating... More

Lucky my Spanish is good enough to ask questions as to how this place works. It's sort of a Mexican take on a cafeteria. How it gets confusing is that there's one area if you want Birria, another for most everything else and lastly a more proper sit down restaurant. Add in a Abborotes at the front and bus traffic... I always stop here at least once during each visit to Guadalajara. It is a local institution for Burritos. Most of the time there is a line, and you grab a tray order from the 8-10 different meats on offer and they put your Burritos together in front of you, add a drink and one of the deserts for a... We had heard a lot of good reviews about this spot and we were not disappointed. The service was good (and patient as they sorted through what we could have based on our allergies) and quick, once we decided, and the food was good.

My husband and I go out of our way for these quesadillas. We also love the burritos. Try the shreaded beef and don't skip the jaimaica or quesadillas. The salsa is my favorite kind. Again, the quesadilas. The cheese is super fresh. It's simple and out of this world yummy. Not a fan of pork but our friends order the... More

As soon as we landed in Guadalajara we told the taxi driver to take a detour and stop here. It was definitely worth it! My husband had never had a true burrito in his life (only the American style burritos) and he was in LOVE with these! try the cochinita pibil definitely... everything here is delicious... and the service is... Mexicans seem to love it. I am just not that in love with Mexican food. The service is fast and the restaurant is huge so I guess on weekends when many people are out it is a good place to go.

Often a line out the door. These are the best Burritos you have ever had! Priced right and served up quick. What incredibly good fast, fast food should be. Don't be afraid to stop. Clean, fast, Informal and delicious! Open 24 hours! It's Mildred Pierce's in Mexico (but no pies).
