We were fortunate enough to secure a table at the last minute, and the chef accommodated my seafood allergy despite a prix fixe menu full of seafood. The roasted beet salad was heavenly (and I am not a huge fan of beets!) and the duck gnocchi dish was fantastic, too. My husband enjoyed his meal very much, after trying mezcal for the first time.
They were gracious to let us bring home leftovers as I was unable to finish mine. I highly recommend this restaurant for couples, birthday or anniversary celebrations, or anything requiring a higher end dining experience.

We had been traveling around Mexico for three weeks and the last two nights we went to this restaurant because we liked the food and the young men who waited on us so much. The first night we had pork belly and the second night we had curry fish. Both were very good. We had difficulty deciding on wine so the waited let us have a taste of couple to help us choose.

From the moment you enter this elegant yet understated restaurant with open kitchen to the left and lovely outdoor seating in a beautiful deck you quickly realize the star of this show is the food, and Allium does not disappoint!! My son was visiting from the Bay Area as my mother had recently passed and we choose Allium to celebrate her. We selected the tasting menu (each offering expertly paired with a beverage to complement the flavors of the dish presented). Highly imaginative creations, each one prepared and presented with great care by our server and beautifully described by one of the chefs who co-owns this gem with her husband. Nothing rushed here. It’s all about your enjoyment of what I would consider Guadalajara’s finest dining experience.

Allium, recommended by our hotel, was a short walk away so decided to give it a try. The restaurant is stylish, the menu sophisticated and the service very accommodating. However,
the food was a disappointment. The sweet potato risotto had so much cheese the sweet potato flavor was non-existent. The duck and other meat entrees , although done to a correct temperature, were overwhelmed by the sauce. Perhaps creating interesting sauces is Allium's specialty but not when they overwhelm the flavor of the protein

We thoroughly enjoyed this place for dinner and would highly recommend it. The smoked beet salad was wonderful, the short rib tagliatelle was excellent and the panacotta provided a delicious end to our meal. Service throughout the evening was extremely attentive.

We had lunch here. Ordered:
Cheese plate appetizers
Catch of the day with bone marrow salsa
Sweet potato risotto
Braised lamb ragu
Loved the semi- outdoor patio basically open on the sides but with a roof. Service was excellent.
We’re not particularly adventurous eaters I enjoyed mine and so did my husband.
Our teens are picky eaters they didn’t like the food.
We would dine here again without our teens.

Excellent food and also very good price considering the quality. I ordered the fish of the day which was white snapper and it was possible to choose different options on how to prepare. I forgot which option i chose but it had mostly corn influences. Also the salsas with the bread were very good i preferred those flavors with the fish more than the corn flavor so i mixed.

I had never thought that such a wonderful take on curry would exist in Mexico, but this place nails it! Imagine the colour of a very smooth Vindaloo sauce with the firey heat taken out of it and in its place a subtle blend of delicate spices with an authentic curry flavour. and you have PESCA DEL DÍA CON “CURRY MEXICANO” -
Curry con Chiles Secos, Raita de Pepino, Cilantro, The menu has a host of enticing dishes including vegetarian options and sea food and a sound wine list. The setting is calm and the staff charming, it’s all irresistible,

This is a beautiful restaurant in a very nice area of town. The ambience is extremely relaxing. The food is phenomenal and extremely tasty with great presentations with a young wonderful female chef at the helm. All our choices were outstanding. The cocktails are also excellent. The service is great and the pace of service is perfect. They were so kind that they sent us some delicious home made ice cream at the end of our dinner. This restaurant deserves a michelin star. Don't miss out on it if you are in Guadlajara.

Nice & breezy in the restaurant. Excellent service with attentive waiters. We tried 5 appetizers. Everything was excellent. Favorites were the beet salad & striped bass carpaccio. Favorite entree was the crab risotto ~ perfectly al dente with a rich sauce and crab shredded somehow that it was in every bite! Mexican gastronomy at its best. Support small businesses:)

We had such a nice meal here. The food, drinks and service were excellent. We ordered several dishes and shared. It was nice to see such variety on the menu. The quality of the food was outstanding - local and fresh. Highly recommend to foodies who want to try a fusion of Mexican dishes with contemporary ones. We will definitely return the next time we're in Guadalajara.

Whenever we are in the city we make sure we have lunch at our favorite restaurant in Guadalajara, Allium. Appetizers through dessert are exceptional. Wine selection is not overwhelming and fairly priced. The staff from the servers to the chefs to the owners are all friendly and welcoming. A great Guadalajara culinary experience!

First night in Guadalajara started our culinary adventure off to a great start. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The beet starter and the sandwich are some of the best bites of trip. The salmon donut was good, but would probably get something different next time. Great overall experience and I would highly recommend. Go hungry.

The restaurant was very close to our hotel and we went there on our 4’th night in Guadalajara for dinner. The best appetizer, the best (fish dish) and the best dessert. On top of that a great atmosphere on the porch (without blaring music) and great service. The best in Guadalajara in our experience.

This restaurant was one of our top dining experiences in Mexico. We sat on the terrace even though it was a little chilly. The view is nothing to write home about - but nevertheless it was charming. Fantastic service. Advertise as "farm to table." We didn't order the most exotic thing on the menu - but we had a delicious meal. Dessert portions are huge.
