Used to be better. Service was very good, steaks were right on but some dishes, like "empanadas de humitas" and the apple strudel has strong flavors that didn't represent the original flavors. Trey wine selection, they have Navarro Correa which one of my favorites.

This is the best steak houses in gdl. Ask for "tapa de bife" it's not in the menu it's the best and everything is high quality... Good wine menu and great appetizers...

This is one of the places that I enjoy so much in GDL. Great service, great location, great steaks, great wine, great Mexican beer. We started with chorizo argentino and artichoke grilled pieces. The my wife asked for a full flavor baby rib eye, I asked for Corazon de Rib Eye which basically is the heart of rib eye, not... More

If you look to have a casual business meal, this could be the place. Staff is very well trainned in the arts of service. They keep the eyes on you all the time. Beef is really good! I tried the vacio and it was great.

In my experience when you order a steak medium rare ("medio rojo") anywhere in Mexico one of two things happen. Either they ignore what you say and give it to you well-done (which is how almost all Mexicans eat steak) or they are so frightened by the order that they only cook it for 30 seconds and you get the... I went there with 5 coworkers and we loved it. The restaurant offers a "Tapa" steak cut. My friend had to call before we arrive to make sure that the cut was available on week night. I added a photo of it. The meat was excellent and so were all the little sauces and vegetables which came with the main... More

We had a late lunch at La Matera. We shared two appertizers . One with grilled endive and blue cheese and a grilled provolone with serrano ham and arugula. For the main course, two piece of beef, vacio steak and entrecote with salad and french fries. Both were excellent. The kids have a pizza and spaghetti bolognese. We ate outside... More
