We just had at Casa Ofelia an hour ago. I had Emoladas con pollo and it is one of the best Moles I have ever tasted. Just perfectly balanced between the chocolate, the chile, and the sweet. Wife had what looked like a very decent hamburger. Someone said the jamaica was not good. Wrong! Highly recomended..

While the waitstaff was friendly and the decor cute, I thought the food was not good. My chile rellano coating was soggy and did not have a good flavor. Daughter had the omelette, and it was not that good either. Disappointing.

Our hotel suggested this restaurant for casual dining. The food is the same as the restaurant next door but the wait staff are way better. Food was good, atmosphere mexicano and staff welcoming. Pricing is fair for the quality of meals and the white wine tasty.

Just happenstance we ended up in this colorfully decorated restaurant this evening. We had passed by earlier in the day and the place was packed so we came later. We had the three sauce enchiladas and guacamole with chips for a shared dinner meal. The family was very cordial and communicative. A very nice experience.

The setting caused the 3 stars as the food was disappointing. Miners breakfast was recommended - eggs, enchilada, tortilla, hash - but it came tepid to cool. Coffee was insipid and my partner yogurt and fruit consisted of barely ripe mango and papaya and store bought tasting yogurt. The bread never showed up but we had enough. Since it was... More

This cafe is one block over from the "main" plaza where everyone's seems to eat, so because of that prices are about 40% less expensive and the food is terrific. chilies Reyanos and grilled fish were excellent. Staff friendly and with my limited Spanish it all turned out well. Would recommend to anyone who enjoyed Mexican food.

We ate here a couple of times and Truco 7 next door. Casa Ofelia has much better Mexican food, in our opinion. Love the guacamole, it is not thinned with mayo or cream. Salads are fresh and crisp and not over dressed. Pizole was excellent and the Aztec soups was good.

Great choice of food options, good price and great location, it can get really busy so make sure you are not starving in case you have to wait for food.
