Les Moustaches, near the US Embassy in Mexico City, is an elegant and affordable restaurant. The food preparation and the service were simply exquisite. The spinach salad was unusual but perhaps the tastiest I have ever eaten. My salmon with risotto was perfect. At the...More

A classic and exclusive restaurant in mid town, with French gourmet cuisine, a wonderful decoration, and an excellent service. There is a pianist during the week, and a violinist on the week-ends. The restaurant has kept the good quality of the food ( and most...More

I have eaten at les moustaches many times. The ambience is old world elegance heightened by the strains of a beautiful violin. The food is superb and the service excellent .

Highly recommended by the concierge at our hotel, Les Moustaches was as fine a fine dining experience as we had enjoyed anywhere in the continental US - and with the current peso exchange, it was a bargain.

My wife loved her duck in a fruity sauce of cherries and strawberries, and an Oriental nest of noodles. But in an established French restaurant, there is no excuse for what they tried to pass off as steak au poivre: a tasteless cut of meat...More

Great place, the food was delicious and the knowledge about wines was amazing. I was expecting to be way more expensive but the price was almost the same as restaurants half as good.

There was a tiered violin at each table in 1960. I was there on my honeymoon. I think of the shiny black floor with a grand piano and as the lights dimmed. Each table heard a violin at their table. Romantic and delicious. In every touch! I wonder if this is related? That was not the name back then. They sold "33" albums that I had for years. Does anyone remember the name of this restaurant?

Buenos dias, Alguien sabe si Les Moustaches sirven un "Menu del Chef" con cinco o seis platillos y vinos distintos como se acostumbra en los restaurants finos de Francia? Gracias, Christopher
