I love the restaurant and food. Unfortunately, the menu is complicated and I was the only Spanish speaking person in a group of five. Menu Spanish only. No one at restaurant would help translate.

We enjoyed the tasting menu at Biko - a seven course meal including foie gras, sea bass and pork. Each course had a delicate balance of different yet interesting flavours. A sensation for all of the senses. Our server, Carlos, was impeccable and made the...More

Interesting Spanish/Mexican squint on the menu, with excellent sourcing of ingredients, perhaps slightly over reliant on spherification & dehydration? The tasting menu with accompanying wines takes the slog out of the menu. Ambience a bit bland, service sometimes disconnected.

My standard for a complete degustation is Le Bernardin; BIKO does not meet this standard as to either food or service; what it does have is beautifully matched wines and sherries, with food courses ranging from superb to good. It also costs about 1/3 of...More

The food is a rollercoaster of flavors and techniques both flawless in the execution. The restaurant has a very sober atmosphere to focus on the meal you are about to experience. The staff is always on top of every need and menu is short but...More
