It seems to be a popular touristic restaurant but the food is just ok, not impressive. Beware of the very noisy saloon due to the mariachis singing at the tables. Also people come to your table to take (and sell) photos and shots. So if you are looking for a touristic-Mexican experience with all stereotypes, this is ok. However if... More

We were a group of nine. They sat us 20mins before our reservation (bonus) and the service was excellent throughout our 4+ hours there. Magna margaritas didn't disappoint except for the slurpee straws provided for our on-the-rocks drinks. Spoon straws should be given only for frozen drinks. Mariachi band was great throughout the evening to include some table-side dancing. Made... More

Really good food. Authentic according to my native friends I was dining with. We ordered most everything it seems and it was all excellent. Wait staff was there when you needed them, but not so much to be annoying.

Had a friend from Mexico who recommended this place. We had spent all day siteseeing and wanted a good meal to finish out the day. Beautiful restaurant with a definite local flair. Ordered some appetizers and margaritas. Our driver and my wife ordered small margaritas and regretted not ordering the larger one like I did. I ordered a margarite with... More

We had lunch with the family, an service was OK, the food average, the place has not been remodeled for years. The level of noise is high, and the restaurant was full. The menu is still the same, but somehow limited if you want something simple.

We found a good food, the service was bad, there was a couple that left because they were not attended. The worst was at the end, they made a charge for "Cubierto" which is something like to have the right tu use the table!!!, amazing that there are places still charging that.

This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants to visit when in Mexico City. The prices are very reasonable, service is always excellent, and the food is fantastic. I would highly suggest the plate on the menu that is recommended/their specialty. The gigantic margaritas are a plus!

Had lunch here with some colleagues, and it was a really nice experience. Service was nice and friendly, and very helpful. A unique twist was the approach to selling dessert; instead of bringing a cart around, they brought a tablet and showed us electronically - all the better to keep the dessert fresh. The food was all delicious, with a... More

Strangely enough two groups from the Anthropology Museum ended up here as it is a tourist stop. However it is slick and nicely laid out so not overcrowded. There is a set menu with choices, do go for the local marinaded steak as it is excellent as was the local green soup. However you have to try the Tamarind Margarita... More
