It's the historic sophistication of Old World elegance that always brings me back here... Or maybe it's just the amazing Tamarind Margaritas 🍹and delicious dishes served here!😊 I'm in Mexico City a lot and I can't come here without stopping by here for a delicious meal and a magnificent view of El Zocalo. Everything they serve is excellent, every guest... More

We sat with free view to the plaza. The waiters were friendly and very attentive to our needs and helped us order some nice food. Have a few good drinks for the food.

Best view in the City, super friendly staff. Thanks to Captain Alex Badillo, Fernando y Ricardo for making an extra special birthday surprise. The Brunch was excellent, and although pricey in Pesos, very affordable compared to U.S. meals of the same caliber. Dinner was amazing, great salad bar, We actually had burgers haha but it was delicious. Can't wait to... More

If you are at the Zocalo in Mexico City you must have a meal at the Terraza restaurant just to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Zocalo. The food and service are fine.

I only went there for the view, but sat down and had a very pleasant evening. The food was very good and the Margaritas were excellent. The waiters were very nice as well. Great choice.

We were staying in the Hotel and we we saw the view from the restaurant we said we have to try it! Apparently they have this weird rule about not allowing people to go up to see the restaurant unless you are a guest of the hotel I don't know, nevertheless the hostess (I forgot your name) I think is... You want the most breathtaking view of the city center? This is the place to be! The restaurant "La Terraza" is great. We asked for a table near the edge (had to wait an extra 30 min) and it was totally worth it. Food is great, service is amazing and the view is breathtaking.

This place has the greatest view of the Zocalo. For any foreigner visiting for the first time, I would certainly suggest visiting simply for the experience. Sure it is not the greatest food in the world, but the view is just breathtaking. I ate brunch there and thought the food was decent and the service was very good in my... More

Wow. What a view. The whole zocalo is below you. Too big to get all in one picture. Great. The food - ugh. Service - poor. But what a view. We went for breakfast, but if you can go for just a dessert and/or drink - well, that would probably be worth doing. Eating there isn't.

Spent the whole day on a bus from Guanajuato (fleeing the Pope) to arrive in Mexico City hungry & tired, and settled on La Terraza due to its location and fancy rep. Sadly we were freezing seated overlooking the Zocalo (good view, but not worth the suffering wind) so had to move away from the edge under the 1000 florescent... More
