My friend and I are not Spanish speaking and this may have contributed slightly, but I did observe other patrons that spoke Spanish looking unhappy at their tables as well. It was really busy, and we waited for approximately 15 - 20 minutes for our table, not a big deal. Our waiter looked annoyed as soon as we stated we... More

4 stars for the view. Appetizers were promising. Mains and desserts were disappointing. 1 star for drinks: too weak and too sweet.

The location is wonderful, and the food is beyond delicious. We had the chile relleno con chicharrones, en quesadillas, the vegetable soup with zucchini flower. The water of the day was also delicious. Our choice was Mango basil and lemon mint. It was such a great destination, the ambiance was well throughout and the service was very professional. Lovely place,... More

It is an excellent restaurant and cafeteria on the rooftop of Porrua bookstore. It has a marvellous view of the city main square and the Templo Mayor. Excellent! Service was great and we enjoyed a drink overlooking the Templo Mayor archaelogical site as the sun went down. We stayed for dinner and had a very nice relaxed meal. Waiter knew little English but we worked out what to have and enjoyed trying some different things - fried parsley and lemon tacos (perejil frito con limón - oh... More

If ever in downtown Mexico City, do not miss this great place. Located on the second floor of Porrúa bookstore, this restaurant offers a 5 stars service and cuisine and fair prices. On top of all the above, the view of Mayor Temple, cathedral and other colonial buildings, is magnificent. As you go in or out this ancient building, give... More

Amazing tuna tacos! Very good ceviche, and the staff was great. The view was unbelievable, just overlooking the big temple ruins. Something money can't buy. Tacos are sold everywhere, but not with that view! Would def recommend!

This is a terrace dining option four levels above and looking down over the ruins of the great Aztec temple complex that Cortez found in 1519. Everything from the civilized food and service to the décor, plantings and restrooms are delightfully refined. I went with friends, local ladies, and followed their advice to choose Mexican favorites. The dishes were delivered... More

What an amazing view: centro's ancient aztec ruins, a cathedral, churches, palaces, and twin volcanoes! And the coffee is delicious!

The best view of the city to sip a drink on the terrace overlooking the archeological site. The terrace is quite big and the service is very fast. The entrance is from the library.
