Probably one of the best sushi restaurants in town. Simple and small, this Tori Tori location was the first and original. Might not have the fancy decor the other locations have, but it's cozy and you can seat at the bar and let the Japanese chef treat you to a fantastic plate of sashimi or nigiris. Excellent quality in the... More

The ambiance is very humble and traditional in appearance. It is very relaxing and the service is good. The food is one of the best sushi in Mexico. It is perfect to plan for a date or be with friends.

Good food, the place is casual. Stick to the authentic Japanese food such as Nigiris. This is not a place for elegant dining on a Friday or Saturday. This is a place to have a very quick and delicious meal.

The rolls were bad, poorly made. The rice of the roll wasn't good. What increases the rating was the mochi. Mochi is an ice cream covered with rice pasta. Those were really delicious specially the mango and the green tea flavor. The ambiance and decor of the place is average.

This is a great Japanese place for a nice date or some great sake with friends (try the house sake). The sashimi and sushi is delicious; I particularly like the appetizers. It is a good place to hang in Polanco. Try the Rib Eye on Hot Stone!

Most sushi restaurants in Mexico City have tweaked their menu to appeal to the Mexican preferences, Tori-Tori has not, and this is a good thing! Here you will fbe served simple fresh authentic Japanese sushi.

Incredible sushi!! We ordered a little bit of everything to get a full sample of the menu and all I can say is that it was all amazing. Some of the freshest sushi we have had. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect. We sat outside on the deck and the blue lights made a beautiful backdrop for... More

Different to to other Japanese restaurants, Tori Tori offer sushi bowls that include the same ingredients as sushi rolls, but you can perfectly mix the ingredients and have more homogeneous bites and that's amazing! I always go for the bowls. I usually get the shrimp and eel bowl. Also sashimis are good and fresh. Very recommended!

I had quite some expectations after having seen the menu and prices. The food served however was underwhelming and just slightly better than the food served in the Sushi Itto chain. Could be the plates I ordered.. My miso soup was average, my rice bowl with tuna was below average. As in the cheaper 'japanese' restaurants in Mexico it was... More

This is a great Japanese restaurant. They have another one in Temistocles also in fashionable Polanco area. Food is outstanding and ambience superb. Thumbs up.
