Maybe it was because the restaurant was highly recommended and the space was lovely but I expected more. Service was pleasant enough but it seemed that everyone was doing everything, which led to some service opportunities. Tortilla soup was excellent but the tacos, recommended by...More

This restaurant is part of a smaller "chain" of restaurants around CDMX, and one that I'd pass by the second time. I had high expectations for the atmosphere, which looked gorgeous in photos, but was really just a courtyard with shops around it. The shops...More

I love real Mexican food, and particularly, mole. Azul, a chain of 3 restaurants, features an interesting menu-vegetarian enchiladas made with hibiscus (jamaica) leaves, guacamole with grasshoppers, and 7 different kinds of mole from Oaxaca. First, I called for a reservation for a bust Saturday...More

A lovely restaurant set in a wonderful courtyard full of trees. We could easily have passed it by. The setting and atmosphere is really special. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly helpful and courteous.

Amazing place, the set up, food, environment. They had a festival of moles (difference flavors and colors). Great service. Need reservation in advance. Very close to the zócalo and Bellas artes palace -walking distance, great after good food and drink.

This was recommended to us by the Concierge at our hotel. Located in the Centro, it is an open restaurant on the ground floor of a hostel. It is pretty though it was really cold on the morning we ate there. The service was good...More
