It was definitely Morrocan or Mediterranean food. the ambience of the restaurant was really nice. We had a salad and a main dish which we found was way to sweet for our tast. The owners were very friendly and very attentive!

Loved it. The atmosphere is familiar, the food is really delicious. I have several allergies, and they could prepare it to my taste with no extra charge and the food is not only delicious, is safe (I can't eat anywhere without getting ill). I'd return more than once.

There are some Spanish comments about the service and in fact the waitres was quite serious and cold in service not what we expect being in a restaurant and specially in Mexico City where service is very good. I took time to let her know how important it is and what a surprise she did not know about the complaints.... More

About as Moroccan-Algerien as you can get, and always great food, whatever you order.. The new location in the Roma neighborhood has a more "modern" Mahgreb atmosphere (and more space, perhaps later on a rooftop option, with more Arablic pastries) than the former one on Ámsterdam Street. Nearby parking. The owner is conscious about tete-a-tete privacy (distance from windows, space... More

I've never been to Morocco, but this place is absolutely great. The food is simple but amazing, nice quaint setting and good service. Don't miss the lamb couscous!!

We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening in the hope of finding some Halal food in Mexico City. Despite being the only customers, the waitress was more interested in her phone than serving us. She also informed us that the food isn't Halal after all so some of us ordered veggies and others lamb with couscous. The food was... More

Had been recommended this restaurant by a customer. Happy I went. The lamb couscous and the bastillas were very good. Each one almost enough for 2 persons. The merguez was tasty but on the dry side. you do not go there for the atmosphere, smiles or service. mint tea was good, but very expensive for just some water and a... More

We love to try new restaurants. This time a friend of us took us to the Casbah. Though his address is still mentioned as located in the street of Amsterdam, this is not the case anymore, as it moved and now is in the street of Campeche No. 174, Roma Norte, 06700 Mexico DF. As our friend lived some years... More

Everyone at La Casbah tries hard and succeeds in making a meal here a delightful experience. The food is great and never fails to please. The cous cous with lamb is delicious and the bastellas are wonderful. They have moved to a new location nearby across Insurgentes at Campeche and Manzanillo in Roma Sur.

I really liked this little place. They had excellent harissa, the merguez were also delicious. I had chicken tagine which didn't actually arrive in a tagine which was a bit of a disappointment, but the food was certainly delicious, if maybe not exactly authentic. But a really good effort nonetheless. They don't have shisha but they do have delicious mint... More
