Forgot my order, first of all, chicken in enchiladas smell awful! Nice place, but not good. Waiters try to speak English, but at the end they don't understand you. No napkins at the table.

After a long day of sightseeing, all we wanted was a light dinner at a sit down restaurant where we could relax. Arriving just after 9pm, we were able to be seated immediately despite the restaurant already being quite crowded. The mole enchiladas and the two soups ordered by my friends were exactly what we needed. Great service, nice people.... More

Lovely ambience, they had a wall covered in candles which gave our area a beautiful glow. Service was great - the waiter brought a sample of mole on a spoon when my friend couldn't decide whether to order it. The chef creates rotating seasonal menus - this month was mango themed. The mango guacamole was garnished with pomegranate and edible... More

Decor is great and back patio is open to the air and filled with plants- great ambiance on a nice night. Food was on point. We had the guac w crickets on top (my first time). It was delicious, kind of like little bits of crunchy citrusy flavored bits in the guacamole. Escamoles served w corn tortillas and guac was... More

In a casual chic ambiance, a colourful and tasty menu is provided. Every choice for our meal was well prepared, presented and flawlessly delicious! Service is friendly, professional and cool, which actually represents the spirit of the place. Absolutely try is their Mole... unique and delicious, there aren't any equal recipes in other Mexican restaurants!

This was our fourth visit to this lovely, well situated restaurant. We were sad to see that both the food and the service had deteriorated. Our server could not get the drinks right, and of 4 white wines on the wine list, only two were available. My soup arrived lukewarm, and the chanted was very little better. The rest of... More

This restaurant is located in one of my favorite areas in Mexico City called Colonia Condesa. The cuisine is spectacular offering some typical knowledge of different states in Mexico. The service is very friendly and they try to please the customers. My favorite dishes are Tortilla Soup, Black Mocha Enchiladas, Cochinta Pibil (from Yucatan), Stuffed Chilies.

Azul is a fine restaurant with a varied menu, excellent preparation.and super service. A busy place so reservations are necessary. English is spoken by the wait staff. Interesting Mexican and international foods are available. Decor is subdued and relaxing. Wine list is ample. Prices are reasonable. If weather permits, there is an upstairs balcony and a back patio on the... More

I'm surprised to see the marginal reviews here. We thought the restaurant was charming and the service very good. The staff was very helpful. When we couldn't decide which sauce to order for our meals, the waiter brought us four spoonfuls of sauce so we could decide. I'd call that incredible. Our dinners were delicious. We were offered candies when... More

We were looking for traditional Mexican cuisine in Mexico City and found it at Azul Condesa. We enjoyed an exceptional meal in a very comfortable setting with an attentive and capable wait staff. We had two appetizers, Roasted Suckling Pork Tacos and Guacamole with Grasshoppers, both of which were delicious. My wife ordered venison and I ordered fresh snook, both... More
