Tuna tostadas were the best thing we had during our dinner, easily. These were one of the best bites I had during my visit to this city. We got the "Rollos..." crab meat appetizer which was good, but not outstanding. We also got the octopus...More

We loved this place! And clearly, so do others. It's open for lunch only (until 6:30) so it was packed at 3:00 when we were seated and it remained busy when we left. (Reservations recommend.) I can imagine that a lot of people go to...More

Finally made it to Contramar. The ambiance can be a hectic, it’s very busy, but the staff does not skip a beat. This is sea food heaven. The menu has a large variety of seafood and it all looks yummy. The tuna tostadas are well...More

Excellent experience. Very busy so be sure to get reservations. I was solo so sat at the counter...which was great as it fostered connecting with your neighbor! Don’t hesitate.

Great food, I especially loved the grilled fish. Great service, good drinks, beautiful neighbourhood. The only little thing for me was that I made a reservation weeks in advance and was given 6 pm, but the restaurant really slows down and loses some atmosphere after...More

An excellent restaurant over many years, with a great formula, they sort of Invented the Nouvelle Cuisine of the sea in Mexico. The quality is superb, the ambiance relaxed and informal. Everyone is there. A great choice when on the Roma and Condesa Hipodromo area....More

Sea food so fresh the squid are still alive when they hit the pan. It's a central hub for people from all walks of life and has the volume that goes with that.

The place is ok, very clean, always crowded, upstairs is quite nice. But.. the food is really awesome, my favorite is the soft shell crab, just prepare a taco with some salsa.. it is delicious, salpicon, tostadas.. I can say everything is good.

Easy to explore either on bike or foot, Condesa offers
a great variety of activities and places to visit
while admiring its neo-colonial architecture. Diverse
restaurants vary from regional to global along its
streets, while local bars even let you craft your own
beer. The urban yet relaxing vibe let visitors cycle
or stroll on the Amsterdam Circuit.

Aside from a basic salad, the menu is pretty much entirely seafood. I would go elsewhere for vegetarian options.

It's generally accepted as the district of La Condesa. Some say, Roma. It's situated in Calle de Durango.
