Condescending Waiter | Mesero Condescendiente I'm a loyal customer at La Biznaga; I can't say enough great things about the food and the atmosphere in general. I always bring visitors and guests to enjoy the experience there, and recommend La Biznaga to the many people I meet through my work in tourism in Oaxaca. However, one of the new waiters... More

The food was the best I had in Oaxaca. It was quite informal and very inexpensive. Incredible value. no reservations necessary

Great portions, tasty food and reasonably priced. Service can be a little slow but our company was good so the conversation flowed and helped the time go by while waiting. Highly Recommend the Seared Tuna Filet.

We stopped in here for dinner one night after a week in Oaxaca where food is everything and usually excellent. We had read mixed reviews about this place but decided to eat here and find out ourselves. We got a table easily as it was near the end of the busy season. The evening started off nicely and we ordered... More

A great open space to eat with amazing food. My girlfriend and I entered with no reservation on Saturday night and we're promptly seated. We had delicious margaritas, chicken in mole sauce, and mahi mahi. We also had a very tasty chicken empanada. Large portions for a great price; the whole meal was under 30 USD. Would highly recommend. Translated... More

Big deception for what was supposed to be one of the best adresses in town. The food is just average, tasteless, too expensive for what we got.

it's popular for the local population as well as the many Canadian and American expats. Good Oaxaca food, good margaritas, good service, very central location and reasonable prices.

I've just had a fantastic meal here, got the stuffed hibiscus cones and the cactus tostadas. Best meal I've had in Mexico (so far...)!

We ate here twice during our stay in Oaxaca. Delicious mole, a small but varied menu, and a friendly helpful wait staff. The setting is in a nice courtyard with a roof above that can be open or closed for cover during an evening rain.
