I live in San Cristobal and I can vouch that Comida Thai serves the best traditional thai food in town.. I eat there 3-4 times a month and never fail to take visistors to enjoy their delicious dishes.

Coming to this restaurant with high expectations from the ratings on trip advisor. The long wait would've been okay (as they even have signs up warning this) however the pad Thai was excruciatingly over-flavoured Luckily the green curry was decent, finishing the whole bowl whilst leaving the pad Thai

Excellent food, reasonable wait time, modest environment, fairly priced. If I lived in San Cristobal, I would go often! Jo

I love this place because it's small and the lady who runs the place cooks especially for you, not store, frozen food! I used to take a book with me to read while waiting. Good news is that it's a quiet place, some blocks from the Andador. I tried the vegetarian option of the Geng Kheaw Wan Ga (green curry... More

We were craving 'something different' after being in Mexico for over 10 days and this was it. Menu was very limited and as others have said food is cooked to order and does not come quickly. We had pad Thai and Green Curry the green curry was excellent the pad thai less so (a bit sour). It is a no... More

We came to this place hungry. Big mistake. Immediately after being seated our server informed us the kitchen was out of two of the four lunch items. Of course these were my first two choices, leaving me no recourse but to choose the most mundane of Thai foods: the ubiquitous Pad Thai. I am not exaggerating when I say we... More

They advertise themselves as "very very slow food". It's not THAT slow and it is THAT good! Pro tip: call in advance to ask for your food beforehand so you don't wait too much once you're there.

Yes-- there's a little wait. But the food was so worth it. We had the pork ribs, green curry and the rice paper rolls. Way too much food but smelling everyone else's dishes and hearing their hums of delight and approval will make anyone over order. Phenomenal food, super authentic 😍😍

I'm from Malaysia (we share a border with Thailand) so I can say for sure that the food is very authentic and DELICIOUS! The lovely couple that run the restaurant, Sutharee and Jose Luis, bring ingredients from Thailand and personally source for all the local ingredients, so you know that your Thai food isn't a "Mexican-ized" version. We ordered the... More

Very slow food but really worth the waiting! The taste is unique and the chef is the owner, so every single dish is made carefully
