We had a lovely lunch on a Sunday. Cozy atmosphere (we ate inside). Very generous portions. Our meat was very good (maybe could have used a bit more flavoring but tasty nonetheless. The menu looks like it should be good for breakfast.

We were recommended by our guide. He was right. A very typical, beautiful, with a lovely courtyard inside where to eat. Everything is well maintained and cared for. The kitchen is very good, they cook only fresh .. I advise you to eat meat, but specified no tomato and grilled. It is your palate morbidisdima. Super recommended.

A nice antique building, gigantic margaritas and a delicious fondue. Very pleasant restaurant and great food. We will be back soon.

I liked the atmosphere and design of the restaurant El Paraiso but I wouldn't be overly enthusiastic about it because we had a nice dinner but nothing too extraordiannary. The wine-list is quite poor and the menu isn't very innovative. We ordered chicken tortillas (simple but good) and a plate of a local choice of meat (sausages and the like)... More

the skewered beef with onions and peppers are the best in town and the portion is so generous we always have to take half home. It is great to have for a whole other meal (usually tacos). The margaritas are the biggest and watch out, one of them is a super buzz. Wait staff is really superior.

Attracted by the idea of the margaritas - and we were not disappointed! - we went here on our first night in San Cristobal. It was very quiet, only one other diner, but the atmosphere was welcoming, the waiter friendly, and the food very good. So we went back the next night and had another great meal, Mexican food with... We went to this lovely spot with a warm fireplace with our group for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. Drinks were generous and my pasta cabonara was truly the best I've ever had! The restaurant is little known and yet is excellent. It's in the Hotel Paraiso. Buen provecho!

I emphasise the part about it's being quiet, as I like to be able to talk with my friends when I eat out. One can choose the main part of the restaurant, which is decorated in a low-key Mexican style or the "corredor" that adjoins the patio, where there are comfortable over-stuffed chairs. And the food! This is among the... More
