The Lechero at the Gran Cafe La Parroquia is worth the hype. Attentive waiters bring you a glass about a third filled with Espresso and then you clink the glass with you spoon and the theatrics begin. A waiter with a huge teapot of milk pours the leche from a towing height. A blast to watch and a delight to... More

A nice place to get together with family and friends and start gossiping about everything! The food it's just acceptable, modest prices and normal service; nothing outstanding but a very good atmosphere. I think my beloved Veracruz is exporting all the good coffee to the US or to the high class restaurants around Mexico.

Not a "must see" in my book, but it wasn't bad. It is conveniently in a very touristic part and I might've been more impressed if I had someone to tell me the history behind it. The coffee was good, I personally like soy milk and there was non but it was enjoyable.

A touristic experience as well as a meal - a really nice place for breakfast, very popular with locals, just one corner from the Emporio hotel. For 205 pesos, we had two lechero (coffee with milk, a must here, very delicious), one picada each (a typical Mexican corn tortilla - we chosed he one covered with green salsa and an... More

Love the lechero. The coffee is very smooth, delicious. Did not eat a meal here, but had a dessert with coffee for three days straight.

Nice place to take a cup of coffee and some biscuits. If you want lunch or dinner there are better places to go with better food and a lot cheaper.

The ambiance was mediocre, but we were at the location in the mall. The coffee and food were delicious.

This place is full of traditions and history - one of the oldest bussiness in town! Their "café lechero" (coffee with milk) is the most common and famous drink. It's served in a very unique way. At evenig, they feature live marimba music. Drinkig a cup of coffee, which by the way, is one of the best coffees in the... More
