We have been coming to Fritanga for about 6 years. Food is always exceptional. This past visit - we had some cold food (cold fish tacos) that had to be sent back to be heated up. Our group of 7 was there on an particularly busy night - several large parties being served at the same time - guessing kitchen... More

Nice water front location with a play set for kids. Ceviche has nice mix of shrimp, octopus and fish. The seafood soup is the bomb, great flavor with a hint of spiciness. The seafood rice has similar flavor so you shouldn't eat both at the same time. The fish fritanga grilled fish grandma's spicy sauce (not too hot for me)... More

Several people highly recommended this restaurant, and we were not disappointed! You have to know where it is, as the entry is tucked away from the street, down the stairs, past the restrooms and into a casual bar and eating area. Try to get a table by the water! We order the combination ceviche to share at our table and... More

Our transfer driver suggested we try their tacos but we had a light dinner instead. After we checked into our hotel we decided to try the local cuisine and went to this eatery. From the roadway it appeared to be a roadside stand but there was a proper restaurant bordering the lagoon when you walk down a hallway and down... More

It is such a great local place with amazing seafood. The outdoor seating, music and proximity to the water was nice. You may have to wait for a table and the servers are running around to try to get everyone settled. The food is excellent and they were recently visited by the Food Network so their exposure will grow.

We usually try to make it this restaurant at least once each year. On the positive side the food is good and the fried calimari excellent. We made reservations, but when we arrived they could not find them. The service is just so-so and it was pretty hard to get our water glasses refilled. The restaurant is on the beach... More

We read about this from tripadvisor. Thank you all, this place is low key, low prices but great seafood. From the shrimp cocktail to the fish tacos, I was loving every bite. The service was great and the beer was cold.

We waited 20 minutes for our food then apps and mains all served together and all stone cold. After asking for the bill and telling our server about the food he apologized but didn't take a single thing off our bill. Was lovely having to cart our 3 yr old back to the hotel to have an actual hot dinner... More

This place has reinvented itself with a new owner and the same wonderful staff. Their prices are VERY inexpensive. The platter fed three adults with left overs and the bill with drinks (sodas) was about $50 US dollars. It had 2 lobster tails, tons of grilled shrimp, Giant pieces of grilled Tilapia, grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon with a cheese... More
