The food is ok, nothing Indian about it. The service is slow, unless you ask for your next dish they'll keep you waiting. They could improve cleaning the place. Don't go looking for an actual restaurant, the set up is on the porch.

I arrived in Cancun late last Saturday evening in search for somewhere to eat. I'm vegan, so my options are a little limited. I'd read about Gopals through the 'Happy Cow' website, and as it was near my hotel I decided to give it a try. It's a little hidden and dwarfed by the bar next door, but I finally... More

Went here for dinner during the week and it was fantastic!! Options were 12 tacos for $12 each. We had one of each and loved every one. Fresh, cheap, delicious and came out quickly. The owner is lovely and didn't mind our lack of Spanish. Will go back.

The menu was 85 pesos and I had so much food and large drink! It includes salad, soup, bread, main course, dessert and drink! Food was yummy, there's also a loads of health products to buy and shampoos and soaps etc if you are into this sort of thing I very much recommend this place

We searched out this restaurant, hoping for an excellent vegan experience. The minute we walked in we were overwhelmed by the lack of health standards. Giant (and I mean GIANT) cockroaches scrambling everywhere. If this restaurant were in America, it would be shut down instantly by the health department. Do not go here.

the haters should quit their whining and appreciate the place for what it is - don't think the place ever advertised itself as an indian restaurant (although granted the name could be misleading). that said, this non-indian veg restaurant serves 3-4 course veg meals for dirt cheap and the food is good! beyond my expectations personally and would recommend it... My wife and I walked 15-20 minutes from the ADO bus station and it was really worth the walk. For 59 pesos per person we got a starter chioce of a small salad or papaya dish, then a soup, then the main (you normally have 2 options), and then a little dish with some fruit, granola and optional yogurt. All... More

My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant 3 or 4 times and we will most definitely return. They have 2 choices daily of "comida corrida". There is no menu. Portions are generous, always tasty and filling. Usually, you are served a salad with colorful, varied vegetables or a hearty soup or sometimes both soup and salad, depending on... More

I can only say the word "Humble" for the food, the location, the service. THIS IS NOT INDIAN VEGETARIAN. So don't get confused. The owner is a Hare Krishna follower and they serve vegetarian food. The food is salad, soup, some rice with just boiled veggies, desert with home baked bread. That's it. Nothing more to describe or add. Cost... More

On first impressions the restaurant looks very basic but the aura is based on Hare Krishna. The meals provided is an equivalent to any prashandam given at hare krishna temples with a Mexican influence. The restaurant is run by a mexican devotee, the first question I asked her was why did her web page show a picture of shrimps as... More
