The local cab driver recommended this place. It was DELICIOUS with great service and fun mariachi band. They had the best seviche I've ever had!! And, great prices. Highly rcommended!! Wish I could go there now. Nothing in my hometown of Louisville, KY is close to comparable ;)

I asked several locals where to eat, and this was the most recommended place. A little off the main drag, but easy to find. I was seated quickly, and soon had salsa and chips. The overhead fans were cool without being overbearing. Since this was early April, temperatures outside were 85 degrees. The restaurant was shady and breezy without being... More

We tried a couple of restaurant in Cozumel and were disappointed. But then we went to eat at La Mission, a cute little restaurant, with lots of nice fans around (not cold AC) and an amazing 3 piece mexicain band. Great voices and music, we loved it. We were tired of always hearing American music everywhere we went. I'm not... More

SO I came here in early April 2017. Ordered the seafood platter but was shocked to see the price had jumped about 5-6 dollars from what was recently posted on TA. Def not a "deal" anymore (think it was $21 USD + 2$ for bottled water). Anywho... the food came out quickly enough. The free chips & salsa was nice!... More

Highly recommend! Great food, service, cocktails and prices. We had the seafood plate and the coconut shrimp (served in a coconut) which were both incredibly tasty. Corn chips, salsa and guacamole is complimentary. Great night!

Highly recommend ordering OFF the menu there fresh cooked whole fish. Prices are unbelievably low & the food is amazing. The chicken lime soup was delicious. Wish we could've eaten there again, but we were on a cruise port stop. Definitely would go again.

On a day of shopping in downtown San Miguel this is a great old place to grab a bite to eat. I've been visiting Cozumel since 2000. I've been there 10 times. I love the island. When i'm there this is a place I always hit when shopping down town. The margaritas are really good and the food is good... More

We ate dinner here one night on the recommendations of some people we met. The atmosphere is great with a Mariachi band playing makes it fun. I had the tortilla soup which was fantastic I could have just had two more bowls of that. I also had the garlic fish which was pretty good. Service was good and it was... More

I asked the taxi driver where the locals eat and he said "La Mission". The food was good and I liked the openness of the restaurant with the natural greenery. The servers were attentive. If you visit Downtown Cozumel, stop in and eat a bite. The Mariachi band will meet you there. Try the strawberry margarita. It is really good.... More
