We visited twice last week - although they were very busy the service was outstanding both times. If you want an experience and outstanding food served by wonderful people this place cant be beat, if you are in a hurry to eat - suggest coming early or later in the evening. You will need to take a Cab - too... More

Our party of 16 was treated like royalty, the food and drinks were outstanding and the total bill was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend El Moro and we will return.

After much hype, we were slightly disappointed. Slow service - the staff seemed overwhelmed by the arrival of a couple of large groups - and the food was OK but not super awesome.

We tried to go here for lunch during a Port stop on a cruise. First, in December, Trip Advisor said El Moro is open at 12:30. It doesn't open until 1:00 and is closed Thursdays. We arrived at 12:30 to find the correct hours. It is in the middle of nowhere in a residential area that is very run down.... More

I've been visiting Cozumel every two or three years for about fifteen years running. Each time, I visit El Moro. And each time, it's the best meal of the trip. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and fun. The food is fantastic. I recommend getting the mixed seafood plate and the fajitas to share for the table. It's off the beaten... More

I may have reviewed this last year, and if I did, it's still true. You walk in as a customer, and walk out as a friend. The food is very good - and very plentiful, however it's the personnel that makes it great. Family owned. Go. Eat. Repeat.

The owner was happy to have us as customers and all his staff followed his example. Food was delicious.

The food is great. Regular Coz visitors always visit this place. Expats eat here. Locals eat here. Thank God it's out there on 75th or it would be packed by tourists and the food would cost twice as much. :) The menu is fairly extensive and you have to ask what some of the styles mean, but it's worth the... We had the fish and shrimp special, the Cuban steak and both were excellent. Our daughter thought the chicken fingers were delicious and it was a very generous portion .Great service by a wonderful waiter (Ray?). We will return!

We've been visiting the island for 14 years and it took us this long to finally make it to El Moro. Everyone raves about this place and the seafood so we made teh trip back with a few friends. Absolutely great Seafood with a staff that takes their time to explain all the different dishes and ways it can be... More
