You will love this place if you enjoy a wonderful meal. I was so surprised and pleased. It's an easy 2 block walk south on 5 Avenue from the main square.

Lovely place with awesome food and service, looked to try them again in Jan 2015 and it has not been open during our stay. We were however greeted again by the most friendly black lab who keeps guard. :-)

We LOVED our dinner tonight in this quaint comfortable restaurant not too far off. Main square I had an amazing piece of grouper done in simple garlic butter sauce which was piping hot and fresh served with some crisp vegatables on the side She started us off with bruschetta which had fresh tomatoes basil and balsamic which hit the spot... We have so enjoyed this restaurant. The owner is sweet and hard working. Breakfast, Lunch Dinner Great salad of reasonable size. Catch of the day perfect. Pasta dish with pesto a total winner. Glass of wine $45. Hard to beat. Never crazy. Music nice and easily walkable from Centrale

we only tried this for breakfast but went back three times. Staff are local but with excellent english. Nice freshly squeezed orange juice and a limited menu but when you are looking for eggs for breakfast what more do you want than an omelette anyway.

At the risk of ruining our secret, if you have not been to La Antigua, you are missing a wonderful meal! The restaurant is now open for dinner as well as breakfast and lunch. All the food is expertly prepared to order with the freshest ingredients and it shows. Although the dinner menu is varied from fish to pasta, I... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant last night. It was empty at 6:30. We were a little nervous. Then Jennie came to our table speaking English. She is the Chef. We ordered the stuffed portabella mushrooms for 100 pesos. Fantastic !!! There were two on the plate and they were gigantic. We shared them, then order the Pesto pasta... More

My husband and I stumbled upon la Antigua while walking to our car. It looked quaint an charming from the outside so we decided to stop in for a bite. The owner was very friendly and had no problem talking to us about the menu and vegetarian dishes that I could eat. I ordered fresh watermelon juice and a grilled... More

We stopped in here for lunch on our last full day in Cozumel. Food was freshly prepared and service excellent. My husband really wanted a fish taco before he left the island and although fish tacos were not on the menu the chef specially prepared them for him. Service was excellent and our waitress spoke good English. Very inexpensive too!
