While this restaurant has had multiple locations...the food and service has never changed. The cazuels are to die for, and the banana and Nutella crepes are just as outstanding!! Chef Marco is amazing.

We had to stop in after walking by and seeing one of the Cazuela creations being served. WOW we ended up having breakfast there twice during our stay. We've never had anything like it before. So many combos to try we will be back next trip. Just watch out the plates are hot enough to burn your fingers. We enjoyed... More

We have been eating the Cazuela Amanecer here for 18 years. It is still one of our top ten dishes in the world. White asparagus, finely chopped ham, gouda cheese and herbs baked with an egg on top. A taste sensation like no other.

I had the Cazuelas Amanecer . It has two eggs, ham, asparagus, and cheese baked on a plate. For five dollars US can not beat it. Cazuelas comes straight out of the oven bubbly hot. You can have scrambled, over easy, or an omelette at home. A Cazuelas is definitely unique and a must try!

We had brunch here on our daytrip to Isla Mujeres. It was such an attractive little place away from the craziness of the main street and closer to the beach. The young men serving us were pleasant and helpful and kept my coffee cup topped up without being asked. The cazuelas (cross between an omelette and a souffle) were delicious... More

We started two mornings with the cazuela creation- part omelette part quiche. Sauteed vegetables (and more), add eggs and bake. Small cozy corner restaurant with a few tables outside. Friendly service, good coffee. Set me up for the day!

I'd give anything to either visit Isla again so I can consume a plate of "crepa amanacer" aka the best crepe with ham and asparagus and cheese or hopefully figure out how to make it myself or they give me the recipe lol. Kevin was our server both times and made sure our visit was awesome. Awesome breakfast and coffee,... More

This place was top on my list after reading Trip Advisor reviews and other random blog posts about their house specialty - a mix between baked egg casserole and soufflé. I love eggs and I love cheese so I knew this place would satisfy me! There is a small patio for outdoor seating but we ended up sitting inside to... More

Really enjoyed the banana milk- so much so we tried to find some in the local small grocery shop, haha. Everyone in my party was happy with their meal. Would certainly go again. Only suggestion is offering lattes would be an extra bonus over serving drip coffee alone. ( although was hot and served with cream, which was greatly appreciated)

We went to La Cazuela for breakfast. The ambiance has character and is colorful. The owner seemed a bit nervous and not desirous to please the clients. I ordered the dish after which the place is named: la cazuela. Eggs baked in a cast iron pan with Gouda cheese and tomato sauce. Eggs were running and I doubt the cheese... More
