A classical sorbeteria in Merida. It was overall a very tasty discovery. I would recommend the: mamey, the coconut and the guanabana ones.

Had their Mamey Champola (fat free milk float) and Crema Morisca Sorbete. Both were excellent in flavor and (I think) fat free. Would go back there in a heartbeat. Actually, went to two of their locations and found them consistent. They take cash only.

40 pesos for a sorbet (peach was excellent). 8:30pm watching traffic pass by on Paseo de Montejo, listening to a rotating cast of buskers. Considerate and efficient service. Highly recommend coming by if there are evening conversations you'd like to have in a particular atmosphere.

The perfect ending to a meal in downtown Merida. My favorite was the tamarindo sorbet, though my husband preferred the coconut.

The perfect afternoon treat to enjoy as you stroll through the park. We had the mango and mamey flavored sorbets. Both wonderful.

Smooth sorbete, the fresa had bits of strawberries throughout. Hubby got coco, but there are other local flavors to choose from. It must be good if the shop in prime location on the Square is still in business after 110 years!! There are some original...More
