It's difficult to describe just how good these tacos were!!! We enjoyed the pollo y cilantro, enfrijolada, and a couple of others along with two beautifully colorful aguas, jamaica and chaya con pina. Very friendly service, too! We visited the location at Calle 59 and 46 on the recommendation of our host, Chef Alex, at Hotel Julamis. Alex said to... More

After spending a few weeks in Yucatan I got a bit bored with typical Yucatanese cuisine. This place brought my faith in the local food back, with their delicious tacos and sandwiches (try the ones with pork belly or chorizo, these were amazing!), all for a great price. When we arrived the place was quite crowded and we had to... More

Beautiful food, super nice people, clean, and a great price. It's just a good as the reviews say. We went for a late breakfast/early lunch as we heard they close when they run out of food. Merida is a very welcoming city, Wayan'e is a must do while in Merida

Nice outdoor location wth a garden that comes complete with plastic flamingoes etc. Very kitschy! No-one cares, they're here for the tacos and the amazingly hot habanero sauce, to which I am addicted. Cost for three tacos with a drink $50 Mxn. Attentive and friendly service. Of course they also have tortas. Only thing missing for those obsessed is tacos... More

Great tacos and agua frescas. Great selection, but get there early, when they run out for the day they close. Quick, easy, delicious, reasonably priced and nice people. Eat here for sure!

Came here as part of our tour with Lawson's and was blown away by the food - seasoned to perfection, hot, and delicious - be brave and try something different, you won't be disappointed!

Attempted to visit this restaurant several times over a couple of days.min each case, it was closed. The food maybe good but it closed each time. It is quite far from the city so if you are without a car, not sure if it is worth a visit.

After traveling through Mexico for 5 weeks, I had my fair share of Mexican food and many delicious tacos. But then I discovered Wayan'e in Merida and was blown away by all the different tacos on offer. I came here 5 days in a row to have breakfast or lunch (unfortunately they only open till 14.30), even though I had... More

Delicious tacos and tortas of local dishes... The drinks are very good too, my favorite was horchata and pineapple with chaya... A meal on a budget!

We stayed in Merida for 3 nights and went to Wayan'e on Calle 59 (corner of 46) for breakfast on one of the days. A very helpful guy explained the ca. 20 different flavours of taco fillings to us and we chose 3 each (and went in for seconds). I chose pork and red sausage, beef and tomato, and egg... More
