Great atmosphere and lovely authentic Cuban food. I'm a big foodie and really appreciated the flavors! The flan was the best flan desert we had in Playa. Also, one of the friendliest service we've had. It's more lively at night with music.

This lively bar is the place to drink mojitos, listen to a hot Cuban band, go salsa dancing or just watch dancers have a ball. It’s an outpost of the original Havana bar that lays claim to inventing the mojito. Fun!

Cuban food, good drinks, good music; had the Pollo Cubano (Cuban chicken) – a slow roasted chicken with an orange sauce…. Delicious! We have eaten inside, and it can be quite loud depending on the band. This time we ate outside and it was better...More

After drop a full mojito glass in my son and husband’s clothes, the waitress brought the bill as if nothing had happened. When I complained, she went to talk to someone( I suppose the manager) and I could see both laughing. No excuses or any...More

Description
La Bodeguita del Medio was founded in Cuba in the 1940s as a corner store owned by Angel Martinez. The store became a meeting place for local artists who enjoyed getting together for an afternoon 'Mojito'. The place has preserved the ambiance of the romantic Carribean lifestyle that flourished with Havana. Today the Bodeguita del Medio is famous world wide for Salsa music, fine cigars, its original Mojitos and having guests write their thoughts and comments on the walls of the restaurant.
