I have never had the food there, but to be fair, Ah Cacao is one of my favorite places to sit and work on my laptop work in playa. You can watch the world go by and the drinks are nice and tasty. The staff are pretty pleasant, however my only complaint would be that the service is kinda slow,... More

Great Cafe', Great Service. Who needs Starbucks when you have Cacao!!! The coffee is delicious and the brownies are melt in your mouth good. A good spot to people watch and enjoy the town. The service is bi-linguistics and the view is great. Give it a shot.

we visited the morning before flying out. It was good coffee, and a very pretty, clean store. I bought man of my gifts there too: bags of coffee beans, drinking chocolate, baking cocoa, and some nice chocolates.

I had the Mayan Hot chocolate (that has chili in it) and Milk with Vanilla. Really good beverages and I complemented them with a ham and cheese crusant... I have to say it was really good compared the the continental breakfast my hotel was offering.

We stopped at the Chocolate Cafe after dinner and picked up brownies and chocolate croissants for breakfast. Also bought tiny bottles of chocolate body oil for stocking stuffers. We couldn't wait for breakfast and ate the brownies. OMG - De-lish!

We came into PDC to meet up with some Mexican friends and they suggested here. We found it fine and there's a little excursions booth by the entrance and we knew guy manning it at the time - freaky! We ordered our drinks from the extensive selection of coffee and chocolate drinks. Our son also ordered 'other chocolate stuff' and... More

We stop by here every year for a soecial treat. They have wonderful ice cream and other great treats. Some of the ice cream flavirs are hazelnut, coconut, and Mayan chocolate. Of course they have traditional flavors too. Don't miss it. YUM!
