Pleasant spot where you can escape the carnival that is Fifth Avenue for a while. I had the Fish Filet and enjoyed it. Pleasant dinner. The food was good, not remarkable. But we truly enjoyed a pleasant quiet dinner I this spot carved out among the trees.

A very busy place for breakfast and lunch! We went for a beer and appetizers around 4pm and wasnt a wait. The guacamole is very good and so were the shrimp tacos. Great wait staff too!

We love this place! We come here every time we come to Playa and are never disappointed. The chilaquiles are amazing and the juice is delicious. Not to mention the "on the house" pastries and breads while you wait. The ambience is amazing! Some Friends recommended Nativo instead of Cuevo del Chango so we compared, but there was no comparison!... More

This place is alway crowded for a reason, it's wonderful! Authentic Mexican food in an outdoor, jungle atmosphere with fantastic service. You'll feel miles away surrounded by trees and small ponds. Known for their breakfast, it's a taste of Mexico. The juices are fresh squeezed and you can even order a blend. Chilaquilas are the most popular item for breakfast,... More

We had a pleasant lunch here with good appetizers, friendly service and reasonable prices. A bit hard to find (off the beaten path) but worth it!

Compared to previous visits the evening was a bad experience. The waiters treat customers like robots who are trained but have no heart. The plates tasted the same. Everything spicy hot and boring. Price vs value is negative. The past was bright the present is grey. Changes required. Not recommended.

We went to this restaurant on our last night in Playa del Carmen and were not disappointed! The food was amazing! The drinks were amazing! The restaurant itself was beautiful! So many trees around. They only accept cash! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

I always come here multiple morning when I am in Playa. My husband and I are both obsessed with their chilaquiles- they are delicious! We usually get chipotle and mulato with eggs or chicken. The atmosphere is an added bonus, I love the layout and decor, feels like I am in the jungle. Even when there is a wait, the... More

I loved this place so much I had to go back again. Usually I like to try as many different places as possible but I'm so glad I came back for more. The atmosphere was very inviting. From the man hosting, to all the waiters. I can tell this place works as a true team should. There where 3 different... More
