Having found this small fast food stand was just by chance while walking several years ago and we can't wait to get back here. They specialize in pork, fried , crispy and crunchy with nice clean pork meat. Or you can get more primal cuts with a bit more juicy fat. I like the buche' or tripas and mocilla when... More

A great local treat. Not fancy at all and off the beaten tourist path but so worth a visit. 20 Ave. y 1 Calle ( 1 block south of Juarez) tacos filled with chopped pork with crispy pork rind and a selection of sauces. They bag up huge bags of the pork rind (think piggy puffs) for other distribution centres.

Heard about this place from our taxi driver. Locals always know the good places. We came for breakfast and had an amazing authentic xarnitas meal. Cheap but so delicious. Mom and Pop type place, only a few tables. Sauces are yummy. We ordered a mix of everything and it was all scrumptious.

Carnitas is a great place to pick up lunch and take back to the condo. We picked up a kilo, purchased the fajitas across the street and the 4 of us ate for about 14$.

Growing up in So.Calif, the food of the Mayan Riviera is distinctively different. In contrast, the food in Los Cabos is excellent in certain places. We looked on TripAdvisor and found this small hole in the wall. It was worth the search. The carnitas were fresh and tasty, and as close to So.Calif Mexican style that we could find. Their... More

Excellent tacos and very inexpensive. Go to Playa about 6 times a year and this is a must. Less than a dollar per taco you must try the surtido or maciza as well as the chicharron.

Excellente!!! Best carnitas in Playa. Take a risk and try some of the more local options. Muy muy bien. Take a ton back and keep on hand for snacks and lunch.

We discovered this place last year. The pork is so flavorful and delish! We were staying at an all-inclusive and a group of us decide to make a lunch run being that it isn't far from our resort. We went and picked up our lunch and then went across the street and bought fresh tortillas. We brought it back to... More
