Our first encounter with Venezuelan food! We found the shredded chicken arepa to be slightly bland, but the cachapa mechada was very good. Would definitely order that again. The chocolate flan was very chocolate-y.lthe genial host offers you small samples of four different juices you may order. Very interesting.

A most marvellous place for food in the Venezuelan art. Pancakes filled with veggies and truly a vegetarian delight. Let us in before opening hours as web gave incorrect info. Lovely drinks and very good prices.

We had a lovely dinner at Kaxapa Factory, the staff (family run) were very friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. There were plenty of satisfying vegetarian options too! Avocados, plantains, and Oaxacan cheese were the stars of our meal. Our server brought samples of traditional juices and explained the flavours of each, we appreciated the extra touches of... More

We went for a lunch. The service was excellent, we get to taste all the Venezuelan drinks they have on the menu in small glasses before ordering. The place was cozy and food came fast and tasted really good. Nothing mind blowing but really good anyway and for the price it was excellent considering it is in a really touristic... More

Take a break and stop by to sample Jose-Ramon's excellent Venezuelan food and hospitality. Just blocks off of 5th avenue...well worth the short walk, an amazing little restaurant with very friendly and informative staff. Nearly every dish can be vegan, vegetarian or filled with meat, so all diets and appetites should be plenty happy here. Sorry, no alcohol is served,... More

Recommended by a friend who had recently visited Playa and this unique restaurant, we headed here for dinner our first night in town. The staff were instantly friendly and were happy to accommodate our party of 7, it took them a few minutes to put the table together for all of us, but it was totally worth the wait! We... More

I used to live in Venezuela and love arepas, cachapas and empanadas! The owners are from Venezuela and are so welcoming and friendly! We tasted all of the above, and they were delicious! The passion fruit juice is amazing! And the quesilla de coco a great dessert! You have to try this place, especially if you are tacoed out!
