Great food, drinks and service

We just spent 5 days at Andaz Mayakoba and enjoyed Tinta del Pulpo for various meals and snacks several times throughout our stay. The food was excellent as were the cocktails. Omar was our poolside server all 5 days of our stay and went above and beyond. He was particularly sensitive to my daughter's food allergy and made sure everything she was ordering was safe for her.

Sarai was great! She gave us a great recommendation to share. Food was amazing and came out fairly quickly. It was my birthday and I was surprised with a dessert and beautiful voices singing happy birthday. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re on the resort.

Great elevated "street food" with amazing service

Tina de Pulpa is a restaurant located in the Andaz Mayakoba Resort. It is a vibrant, casual open-air restaurant and bar that features authentically prepared, regional dishes and elevated “street food”. It showcases Mexico’s most inspiring flavors, emphasizing a selection of tacos, ceviches and desserts. The beverage menu features an extensive artisanal beer list, as well as cocktails and wines. I really enjoyed the local IPA and the fish tacos were outstanding. Tina de Pulpa is a great option for anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious and relaxing meal by the poolside, with a view of the lush Mayakoba resort. Make sure you ask for Paco he was a fantastic server and was very attentive with all our needs whether it was in the restaurant or by the pool. He truly made our experience special.

Amazing vacation due to our server, Paco!

The pool service was amazing! Not only was the food good, we also had the best waiter, Paco! He was extremely attentive to my family, always made sure we were filled up with drinks and food, and really went above and beyond. He made our stay at Andaz Mayakoba excellent. We sat in his section every single day we were here, because we knew we would be well taken care of when we had him as our server. He set out towels for us, always supplied us with water due to the heat, and even made us feel special when there were birthdays in the family by bringing out cakes with candles. Paco is hands down the best server we have had, with a positive attitude and a welcoming smile. We are so grateful for him and our vacation would not have been the same without him! Paco deserves the world! We could not stop talking highly of him the entire stay. If you are reading this, thank you so much Paco! You truly are an amazing person and an exceptional server, you made us feel like family! We love you! - Mr. Justin’s daughter

Fantastic experience at Tinta de Pulpo

We have been at Tinta de pulpo few times during lunch and once for dinner, last night Saturday 18/11/2023. We had a amazing evening, we were served by Carolina who took care of our son bringing his favorite fish and his loved ice cream, which she knew during our lunch visit. And suggested and helped us to choose parrillada, perfectly cooked by Eduardo (Totò) from the kitchen team. All our experiences at Tinta de Pulpo have been superb. Well done!

Excellent food and Excellent service. We found almost all the dishes very tasty - specially the shrimp taco and Tlayudas. On most days our server was Lis and she was Excellent. She was always eager to give us background about the food like what region it was from...just a genuinely friendly host - made the meals more enjoyable. Nice casual setting in the middle of everything in Andaz. Prices are also decent compared to many of the other restaurants in Mayakoba.

Amazing Service!

The service here is amazing! Especially by the pool, our server Paco was absolutely amazing! He was so attentive and took care of us all week long. He set up our chairs for us every morning and always made sure we had a drink in our hand or something to eat.

Exceeded Expectations

We just got back from a weeklong stay at Andaz Mayakoba with our kids ages 5, 3, and 6 months and couldn’t be happier with our experience. In particular, the service and quality of food were above our expectations. The kids loved their beach and poolside meals and all of our meals out. My husband and I were impressed with the quantity and quality of food. All our meals were great. We were so lucky to have Paco as our daily poolside server. Always so attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed and we got it in a timely manner. The manager, Danny, was also incredibly helpful and certainly made our visit one we won’t forget. He checked in with us throughout our stay, helped get us reservations at different dining options, and overall was just a genuinely nice man who wanted us to enjoy our stay as much as possible. Would highly recommend to all our friends (some of which already are looking to book in the fall!).

Fantastic!! We literally ate dinner here 3 nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much. The food is fantastic - the shrimp tacos are THE BEST. The vibe is great. Scenery beautiful and literally the nicest staff and best service you could ask for. Paloma , Reyna, Liz, Roger and Zaira took the best care of us!’

Culinary Perfection by the Pool

My husband & I dined here throughout our stay, each time we tried different items, EVERYTHING was a culinary delight! The chicken tinga tostada is not only visually stunning, but sublime in taste. The mushroom & cheese empanadas made with blue corn tortillas, I could eat these every day! The spicy shrimp seviche with habanero & passion fruit, WOW just WOW! Literally everything we've ordered is presented beautifully & the taste is pure perfection...by the pool. AND, last but certainly not least, the service we've received from Carolina during our frequent visits needs to be recognized. She is so welcoming, BIG smile & very spirited personality. She remembers us each visit, knows where we like to sit. She's fun-loving, helpful & is very pleasant, prompt & genuine. Carolina is an asset to the restaurant & to the hotel..

Beyond Expectations: Our Journey Through Tinta del Pulpo’s Exquisite Cuisine and Hospitality

We spent six days at the Andaz Mayakoba Hotel, and this restaurant was definitely the highlight of our stay. Not only were the meals impeccable in taste, but the staff’s attentive and caring manner was exceptional. Jaqueline and Ruben always greeted us with big smiles, even on very busy evenings. They also remembered our preferred wine and helped us improve our Spanish level in such a charming way that we never changed restaurants. Marco, who usually worked during breakfast, kindly remembered our somewhat complicated coffee order. We always looked forward to dining at Tinta del Pulpo, not only for the fantastic food but also for the wonderful staff! A big thank you to Amor behind the bar for making the best carajillos. Overall, we are incredibly grateful for the warm welcomes!

Great staple at andaz

Love the staff - especially Catalina !! She was so sweet and helpful every time we had to come with our 1.5 year old. Ate here so many times on our trip, it’s the chillest best vibe in the andaz, you get to look over the pool and ocean eating delicious tacos :)

Incredible Food

You might think this is just a place to get Beach food for lunch. However, I’ll tell you that the breakfast is incredible. Most days we would enjoy the buffet at Cocino Milagro, but today we made the trip to the beach and everything on the menu not only was delicious, but a work of art. Highly recommendchecking this out

We really enjoyed our food here - would recommend getting the fish and poblano steak tacos. Also enjoyed the dessert here. Carolina (dinner service) and Janeth (poolside service) both went above and beyond in terms of service.

Great pool side casual Mexican place

We ate here at least once a day during a week we spent at the Andaz. It’s delicious casual Mexican food by the pool with exceptional service (a special shout out to Ezekiel, who was our amazing waiter who treated us like VIPs). I highly recommend the nachos, which were a perfect pool side lunch.
