The place is very nice, we have breakfast every day since the Posada Mariposa hotel gives you the breakfast ticket for this place and they also give you a 30% discount on eating. Everyone was very kind when assisting us, especially Jose who assisted us most of the times we went, he was very concerned about everything. The food is delicious and they have pizza and pasta promotions, which are quite convenient compared to other restaurants.

UNMISSABLE… it will be a delight for the palate if you want to have breakfast in a unique and different place. Wake up with a healthy and delicious dish, I can't help but recommend my favorite, scrambled eggs with Gorgonzola cheese, you can't miss the delicious homemade pancake or croissant! They have a 2x1 mimosa promo, ideal to accompany the dishes!! I can't stop thanking Hugo who made our breakfast unbeatable with his wonderful recommendations and personalized attention, everything we ate was incredible thanks to his recommendations. Without a doubt we will return at night or in the afternoon to continue trying these delights.

I never cease to amaze me!! Delicious cuisine, all the Italian flavors in each dish, fresh! Tasty ! Having breakfast at this restaurant is still a wonderful experience, Hugo is every second the host that every place would love to have, he makes your visit a unique experience. Be sure to try the Frittata al prosciutto di Parma!!! You will simply love this dish, and a must-see classic, Salmon bagel, simply different, fresh, delicious.
You can't miss going if you are looking for quality and price in food and drinks!! Thanks to all the staff!

Beautifull interior design with a nice terrace right next to the street. We stopped by for breakfast. The food looked great in the menu but the execution was bellow standard. The fruit bowl with yogurt and granola has ingredients that just don't fit (watermelon with yogurt??) and the proportions are off. You get way too much fruit for a small portion of yogurt and granola and the fruit is cut to enormous pieces. The creamy eggs with gorgonzola are not so creamy, more on the dry side with lack of spices and shy on gorgonzola. Pancakes on the dryer side as well.
The service was a bit slow, although our waiters were very friendly and did their best to make us feel welcomed and comfortable.

We had a fantastic meal here, it’s a nicely decorated airy restaurant on the corner of the bustling 5th Ave. We all had pasta dishes which were came quickly, were beautifully presented, and tasted excellent! Luis our server was great and looked after us very well. Would recommend.

The food is delicious but I would not go again because of the waiter's treatment at night, it took them a while to take my order, they served foreigners more than me. When I ordered my pizza to take away, the waiter rudely threw the container on the table at me. I think my money is worth the same as a foreigner's.
At breakfast the waiters had a very good attitude and treated me well, those on the night shift should learn from them!!!

We were a group of 12 and the service was great. We had a great server who was knowledgeable on every food item in the menu.
The pastas are fresh as their menu indicates.
Their cheese pizza and bolognese had great taste. They’re lasagna was also really good and very cheesy.
My favorite item was the passion fruit orange drink that was on point with citrus and level of sweetness. You are able to taste the quality of orange after the passion fruit. Very well balanced drink and very well balanced service and overall great experience.

Wonderful food and really friendly service. The pasta was amongst the best I have had (including travelling in Italy and London). The pizzas were fabulous and had a good amount of toppings. There didn’t seem to be a children’s menu but ours are old enough that they enjoyed an adult portion quite happily. Just something to note for those with younger travellers. Lovely service from our waitress and a lively atmosphere on 5th Avenue. The restaurant was quite expensive overall but it was a special meal and felt worth it.

Let's overlook the whopping $41 canadian dollars for a sald, pasta with tomato sauce and a San Pellegrino. Before tip. In Mexico. The tomato sauce was clearly not made from scratch. I've been making fresh tomato sauce for over 20 years. It's not hard to taste the difference. The salad, while visually lovely, was the taste equivalent of styrofoam. Honestly, if you're going to charge that much, have the basic decency to serve organic produce. The service was attentive. For this reason alone, I tipped and tipped reasonably. But my server showed his displeasure at the size of the tip. Bad manners, Aurelio. Tips aren't an entitlement.

Fantastic pizza and service. Aurelio was wonderful with helping with menu and translation.
Highly recommend for dinner. 3 glasses of wine and 2 pizzas was less than 1000$ (in pesos)

We met up with friends. We didn’t eat just had the 2for1 drinks. I had the margarita’s and husband 2 beers .. bill was $540 pesos!
Friends had pizza n tuna tartar n 2for1 drinks .. their bill was over $1300 pesos for lunch!🤯 too expensive for what you get … I don’t recommend … lots of great places to eat, move on!!!

Excellent service from a great team led by Hugo, who helped us select some wonderful dishes! The avocado toast is incredible! The mushroom frittata is a delicacy, homemade sweet bread, natural orange juice, fresh seasonal fruits, give it to me and you will have a unique gastronomic experience. What a wonderful restaurant this is that we just stumbled across.
The food was delicious, there was 4 adults and we all had a different meal which were all outstanding, we all had a little nibble of each others.
The service was really good with one member of staff always checking in on us to see if we needed anything.
My wife and I called back a few days later for some more delicious Italian cuisine.
The quality of food and service we received was without doubt the best we have ever experienced on 5th avenue.
Highly recommended and we were quite surprised how little the bill was for such a great meal on both occasions.

Luis was very attentive and took the time to share all the types of pasta that he brought to the table so we knew what was available . Our Italian dinner was delicious and we are coming back for sure! I am glad Luis shared that L’Italiano also serves breakfast!

The food here was very delicious, we have came for both breakfast and lunch. The food was well prepared and our server Uriel did an excellent job serving us. This place didn’t feel unfriendly or like they were rushing us out like other restaurants here on 5th Ave and prices are more reasonable. Definitely recommend this place if your in Playa Del Carmen.
