I am glad I dined at El Fogon while in Playa. It is a popular local spot. I ordered the beef taco. At a dollar and change each you can have a few of them without damage to your wallet. The quality was very good....More

Went for lunch. Restaurant was busy, but we were seated quickly. Food was excellent and came out quick. Service was very good. We ordered a variety of menu items, none disappointed. Would recommend!

El Fogon is an open air (in front) restaurant with a large, viewable grill. We got a variety of meals...steak, pork, chicken...and liked all of them. The server was very helpful explaining the offerings. The prices were reasonable and the service was fast. Great value!

A totally perfect Mayan eating experience. This is as “local” as it gets. Authentic and not disappointing, mostly locals dining here which is a good sign = Go!

They have several dish’s that have chicken. I recommend the fajitas which are always good. Plates are plentiful so you won’t leave hungry. They take dollars, pesos, or credit cards. Beer is cold and Margaritas are good... More
