Marina is the best guide you could ever have. The location is a paradise. We saw incredible animals, did snorkeling and swam in a white sand beach. It seemed like a dream! Absolutely recommended!

Long day with over 6 hours in the jeep over rough road; seen no wildlife, except the dolphins in the ocean which took a long time;

Originally we were planned to undertake this trip on the 29th but when we were driven out to the meeting point for the boat it didn't turn up. We sat there for 2 hours. The guide did apologise and was very embarrassed. After loosing a day of our holiday to this we were unsure whether to go again but I... More

We had a really good and interesting day out in the Sian Ka'an biosphere. All profits go to the Mayan community making it doubly worthwhile. We were collected from our hotel at 7.15 am and taken by speedboat across a couple of freshwater lagoons, through a canal built by the ancient Mayans and to the edge of the sea. A... More

There are so many ways to explore this area...do it! We hired a local fly fishing guide for two days and had an amazing experience. We caught fish...but even if we hadn't, the wild life we say while on the water was incredible. Dolphins, manatees, birds, crocs, sea turtles. It is a beautiful place.

We drove for a quite a while into Sian Ka'an, which I believe is a national park and an ecologically protected area. Although there is some great scenery and definitely some wildlife, the beaches had garbage on them, and didn't compare to those in the main beach area of Tulum. Wish I did the boat tour through the mangroves, sounds... More

Early start, full on day but saw a lot of wildlife. Crocodiles and manatees in the mangroves, dolphins and turtles in the sea. Great secluded beach in fisherman village for lunch. If you don't like boats then this isn't for you!

Its 45 km from Tulum to Punta Allen or go south to Muyil and take one of the fisherman boats into the Mangroves. Its a natural reserve and worth a whole day of exploring !!
