Sun was shining so only one place to head to for a spot of lunch with Mum. First time I’ve been since the outside area has changed and the new menu in place. It was simply stunning, looking out to the Cheshire Countryside with an...More

We wanted somewhere to have a relaxed and informal wedding reception and the Chester Fields really did deliver. Set in beautiful countryside, the Chester Fields created the perfect atmosphere for our day and evening. We could not fault the staff for their commitment and attention...More

Good kerb appeal and well done out with lots of seating options both inside & outside. Fairly extensive menu and a good beer choice, so it should have all the ingredients for a memorable visit but there wasn’t the character and atmosphere you get in...More

After having previously visited for a family member’s birthday we decided to go again, with high expectations. However, unlike last time, the service was slow, the workers were rude, and the steak was tough. When we mentioned this to the waitress she informed us that...More

My partners sons had been before, albeit a few years ago and said the steaks were excellent. We arrived and there was no obvious disabled entrance so went to the area marked entrance only to find a large step and no ramp. A delivery driver...More

Not been in over a year and we were shocked by how bad it now is. The food was dreadful, greasy and lukewarm. The 3 or 4 waiting staff spent their time chatting amongat themselves. Unfriendly and disinterested. We won't be back.

The Chester Fields is a stunning Country Pub & Restaurant near Chester set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. We’re famous for our use of local produce, amazing views & bizarrely, the Austrian ski lodge plonked in the middle of Cheshire. Just outside the hustle and bustle of Chester, The Chester Fields isn’t your usual pub and restaurant. You see, we like to do things differently, have a bit of fun & perhaps break some of the rules. Our welcoming converted barn is the perfect setting for any occassion. From cosy couple dining to bespoke weddings and big blow out celebrations. We even boast glorious gardens for Al Fresco dining {as long as the Great British weather plays ball of course!} & our private ski-style huts for drinking ice cold beer are the ideal escape from reality. With great real ales and authentic Austrian Schnapps, there’s no better place to kick back, relax and enjoy the company of friends, family & Nuno of course.
