Amazing food, fantastic, warm atmosphere, we sat by the wood burner on a very cold evening, service was professional and quick and friendly. Food, out of this world, definitely worth the money, we didn't want to leave!! Make this top of your places to eat!!

I really like the Bishops and the Farmers arms in St Davids but it turns out the owners also own the Sloop. I love the menu but when you are eating in the restricted options often, it would be nice for them to have a slightly ddifferent option on the menu. I have no complaints about the food. Its a... Really nice setting come rain or shine. Went for lunch on Sunday afternoon and was blessed with weather good enough to sit outside. Staff are really friendly and diligent. Despite the place being rammed with customers we didn't have to wait too long to have our food served.

Lovely Pub, sat outside with a cuppa, what a view too. It was very busy inside & out all said beer was good & the food was great all well priced. The staff were very friendly too, a proper pub 10 out of 10

We stopped here for a couple of drinks on a weekday afternoon. Seems to be a popular place and had a bar area as well as plenty of spaces for eating. It had lovely decorations with lots of history pieces. Over looks the sea in a couple of parts and is also warm and welcoming which was much needed on... More

We have been to this restraunt many times and never been disappointed. A good pub lunch as usual, rugby on the projector, and excellent ale. Can't ask for more.

A blustery welsh day, had a informal meeting at the Sloop. Light lunch and a hot drink. Perfect atmosphere to warm the cockles!

First impression - very friendly welcome and a good recommendation for a pint from some unknown beers. It was lunch time so we ordered sandwiches which were perfectly okay but nothing special but bearing in mind that the place makes no pretence at being anything other than a slightly dog eared pub in a small old, harbour with a few... This is the only pub in the village, so has a captive audience. Good location with plenty of seating outside. We only wanted a light lunch so ordered sandwiches. They were okay, but not worth the money. Bread dry and filling not so filling. I just don't understand why pubs like this can't spend some of their profits on improving... More

Just popped in for a coffee/beer on the walk from Abercastle to Abereiddy - a perfect distance to stop after 4 miles, with 2 to go. Lovely and warm, welcoming staff and interesting literature to borrow for a browse. The menu looked good but we had our sandwiches with us so didn't actually try anything. The coffee was very good!
