So, not quite the New Orleans experience, but there was a lot of color here. Some cool jazz playing somewhere in the bar. It was loud enough where you could visualize a live band plugging away. The waiter kept on bringing us martini's. Didn't realize Wednesday's were two-for-one, ha ha!! The place was packed. Did not eat food. The waiters... More

If you didn't know better you would think you were in New Orleas! Well...maybe. Very friendly staff, lively groups, excellent margaritas (happy hour too) and hamburgers/onion rings. The menu looks great...

Friendly people. Nothing special about the atmosphere, dried up little oysters or the cocktail sauce.

Nothing special. But it is good to enjoy New Orleans style American food when you are tired of all Mexican food.

After 2 weeks in Mexico, I finally got to the point where I wanted something other than Mexican food. In the end, it was probably a bad decision on my part to come here, but reminded me of home nevertheless. The place looks just like a TGIF or some other chain restaurant from the US. And it's PACKED with American... More

Hank's is one of those kind of places that you'll pass by on the street and it looks like everyone is having so much fun inside, you just know you want to go there. We had walked by a number of times. The timing had just not been right for us to visit before. So we walked in with our... More

There is better food in SMA, and there may be better service, but there really is no better place to hang, to eat, and to enjoy the atmosphere of fun and welcoming spirit. Don't get me wrong, food is very good if perhaps not inspiring-excellent. Service was friendly if a bit slow. None of that detracted from a great experience,... More

This is one of the liveliest places in San Miguel. I love the music, the place itself and in general the food is pretty good. This time I ordered a Jambalaya that unfortunately was not good at all. But I have always enjoyed food here. Great professional service. Most of the customers are American expats.

I had drinks at the bar and a salad. Sat next to two young women from Guadalajara who were friendly and enjoyed talking to them. Bartender made my champagne cocktail with Peychaud bitters, the New Orleans style. Salad was good.

Description
Hank's is the new name of the famous Harry's Restaurant with 12 years of history in Mexico, since 1999 in San Miguel Allende and since 2004 in Queretaro. Hank's is a bit of Louisiana and its "French Quarter", which offers the traditional Cajun cuisine from New Orleans. The atmosphere at Hank's is incomparable, you can enjoy a delicious dinner or spend a pleasant evening in the bar, drinking a margarita, a martini or a devastating hurricane while listening to jazz music.
