This is a quiet intimate restaurant tucked away from the street. It is the type of place locals frequent when they want a special evening. The menu is european and our meals were quite good. We also appreciated the attentive service.

My husband and I tried this place after a friend recommended it. (Since we are only in San Miguel this time for a short while, I don't want to waste time on mediocre places.) I am so glad we ventured here! I ordered the sea...More

This is a nice place for lunch or dinner, outdoors but shady, and right around the corner from the Parroquia. I especially liked the fig and cheese salad.

It is little and cute with delicious food and drinks. Big menu with some French classics - melted goat cheese, escargots etc. Sometimes a change from Mexican food is in order and we loved our night out at Chamonix. Very attentive service.

Again...wow!!! I was brought the wrong thing. I ordered an artichoke. I even asked how it was prepared...so no way there was a misunderstanding. They brought me lettuce wraps. When I told them it was not what I ordered the proprietor came out and started...More

What an excellent restaurant, from the food to the staff, atmosphere, drinks, all of it. I'm an Escargot lover, and order it whenever I see it on a menu, but bar none, the Chamonix Escargot was the best I've ever eaten in my entire life....More

Have know Chamonix for years and it has never disappointed. The menu is an unusual mix of various cuisines but it incredibly works.

Dined with a bunch of friends on their outside/inside terrace. My pasta dish was cold very quickly, was ok but not memorable. The appetizers were very mediocre. Nobody else enjoyed their meals (chicken was so so, steak had a terrible sauce and was awful, etc.)...More

Chef Ana Lilia Galindo serves up a globe-spanning menu in Chamonix's cozy, hearth-warmed dining room. The specialty here is the aptly named Swiss fillet— medallions of beef wrapped in ham and cheese. But frequent fliers will also be pleased by traditional Mexican dishes like beef-stuffed poblano chiles, spicy Sri Lankan curry, Vietnamese spring rolls, and an array of fresh pastas. In fine weather, the pretty outdoor terrace is a lovely place to linger.
