Although there's a lot of wonderful restaurants in San Miguel, Hecho en Mexico is one of our favorites. This past winter we had lunch there with friends twice, and no one was disappointed with either the food or service. My favorite items to order there are the shrimp tacos, the arrachera steak and the tortilla soup. My husband loves the... More

You can't make reservations here but the wait seems to go quickly as the restaurant is quite large and staff efficient. A very popular place for good food and staff with good meals priced reasonably. Great for families or couples. The little bar is s good back up plan if you don't want to wait for a table, it serves... More

The food is tasteless, no matter what you order, it seems. I can't understand why this is a popular hangout, unless those who populate the place are tourists who don't know or expect better.

The diverse menu, English speaking staff, and great art art on the walls, make a very pretty restaurant. Not only pretty, great food and not too large proportions. Fish Veracruz and Salmon, budget priced chicken quesadillas and I love the apple crisp with ice cream.

Delightful patio dining and we have always had really good food. The service is great also. Poblano soup and Ruben sandwich were great. They have a section of half sandwich and soup or salad which is always one of my favorites toller Cranston was a famous local artist and a number of his pieces are here and worth seeing.

The ambiance is very relaxed and the staff pleasant. The calamari was terrible - just tiny bits of rubber served with a flavourless sauce. The tilapia was nicely prepared with lots of vegetable.

A large variety of foods, both international and Mexican. The walls are graced with paintings by the late Tollar Cranston, Canadian Olimpic champion, the atmosphere is lively and the service is good.

This is a great place to dine after attending a Pro Musica concert in St Paul's Anglican Church, because it is on the way back to the center. The food is very good and the setting (interior courtyard) is quiet and very nice. Be sure to make reservations.
